Picus player is a standalone audio-video player with rich features. Picus Player is one stop solution to organize audio and video media on android platform. Picus player implements its own database, sorting algorithms, media scanner, and bookmark manager.

Picus Player has following features:

Playback Modes – Shuffle, Repeat One, Repeat playlist, Normal

Metadata – Extracts Information like Album, Artist, Genre, Title and Album art.

Default Playlists – Picus player provides various playlists for viewing tracks based on their metadata information like Artist, Album and Genre and album art/video art.  Tracks can be seen in A-Z and Z-A order. Picus player also provides default favorite lists Recently Added, Recently Played playlist for quick access to latest media files.

Custom Playlists – The user can create their own custom playlists by adding and removing content in to a playlist
Media scanner – Picus Player provides its own media scanner to update track list for newly added or removed tracks.

Bookmark – Picus Player allows user to add unlimited video bookmarks.  Picus Player allows viewing and removing bookmarks with thumbnails along with timestamp of bookmark

Auto bookmarks – Picus Player will scan video file automatically for maximum 8 near-equally spaced positions and stores them as bookmark.

Resume – Picus player stores information for last track played and resumes from same position where playback was stopped. This will provide continuous playback effect.

Seeking – Picus Player supports seeking at various seek speed like 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x.

Track Information – Picus Player provides advance track details like duration, codec, bit rate, sample rate, resolution, etc…

Battery indication – Picus Player displays real time battery charge status on video playing screen.

Brightness Control – Picus Player provides brightness control while video playback to adjust lights of display.

Network Support – RTSP and streaming content are supported.

Skins – Two excellent skins.

Swipe gestures – User can change track using Swipe left or right.

Webcams Widget Demo (v. 0.7)

Simple 3x3 webcam widget that displays little thumbnail images of up to 9 webcam images (3 in the free version) on your home screen.

Tapping on an thumbnail image opens the image full screen.

To install this widget, tap and hold the home screen to open the Add to Home screen pop-up window. Tap on the Webcams Widget.

Then the widget will appear on the home screen.

Tap on 'Settings' to add the URLs for up to 9 webcam images.

In the free version, the images are automatically refreshed every 30 minutes. In the full version this can be changed by the user, and the automatic refresh can be turned off if required.

Known Issues
============
When mounting and unmounting your device on the PC, the latest images no longer display.
90 degree rotated (portrait) images may not display.
If you mis-type the URL of the image, the widget does not tell you, it just displays no image.
Widescreen images are squashed to fit the space in the 3x3 grid on the widget.
Images larger than 1024x768 have not been tested.

Future Plans
============
Enable swipe to next/prev image on single image screen.

This app is a soundboard of Subtle Human Notification Sounds. Play the sound and listen to it then download it by pressing the "Download" button, it then takes you to Megaupload and from there you can download the notification to your phone.

Take photo without sound and preview !
Just click on the widget.

DEMO version: Only one filename "/sdcard/HiddenCamDemo.jpg". The last photo is always overwritten.

Installation: select HiddenCam from your widget list.

Q/A
I click on the widget and nothing appends (or my phone vibrates)
- Remove and add again the widget
- If it's still not working : uninstall the application, remove the widget, reboot and reinstall the application.

HiddenCam doesn't appears in application panel:
- HiddenCam is only a widget. Add it with a long press on your home screen.

There is a sound when I take a photo:
- that may happen with some devices as GS2 where you must be root and remove a sound file (it's a constructor limitation)

My camera seems locked:
- kill the process or reboot your phone.

When I click several times on the widgets some errors appear:
- the camera can only manage one picture at time. Wait few seconds for the first picture (depends of your device)

Why the widget becomes blue:
- the widget becomes blue when a photo is taken, green when done, red on error, and gray when ready for another photo.
