Cannot play HD movies with .avi as extension It runs everything fine but it doesn't want to run .avi files on my motorola xoom. I thought at first my xoom cannot handle .avi hd movies but when I try dice player, it just runs fine. please fix this as dice is now free and I have paid yours but cannot run this .avi movies... I will change the star if you fix this issue....

Issue while playing video over wifi. Floating mode is a must feature for tablet I have big issue while playing video over wifi. Will only run about 5min, then having stopage issue which I have to pause a while around 10sec. I can see the buffer is more than enough. I have tested same condition with BS Player which give me no playback issue. If possible, please add in floating mode. It is a must have feature for tablet. I believe lot of people willing to pay for that feature.

The best video player hands down. I've tested various video players to look for alternatives, but always coming back to this one. It supports multiple formats and plays smoothly almost anything I throw at it (including higher resolution videos). There was a time when Hi10P has came out and thanks to quick update I was able to play these mkv when my PC couldn't. I'm very happy to support that kind of application.

Comes with what I needed. No frills design I have been searching for all different media players for my videos, but most of them are optimized for music players or look fancy but lack the features I am looking for. This video player is great and worth the money. This is the only player that has not given me sync issues and i am very critical when it comes to my videos audio syncing right. I also really like how when you use the S/W decoder, you can raise the volume to make it twice as loud as other video players. The S/W decoder is also great for playing different formats. It makes video playback smoother for other types of formats. There is one feature I think is missing and it is the ability to have subfolders when browsing folders that contain videos. I have multiple seasons of different TV series on my phone, so it would have been nice to organize it the same way i have it organized on my PC, but other than that, it is perfect. This player comes with almost everything I need and does not try to be fancy looking.

a powerful video player it does have a free, ad supported version, but I love this app so much that I am willing to pay a few bucks to support the author, as the player is SO powerful and highly customizable. It makes watching MV, TV shows and movies on the phone a walk in the park. V player is similar, but I like mx player more

No h/w decoder on CM9 Description said not to use s/w decoder on tegra3 devices, but on s/w decoder is available for playback when my TF201 has cm9 installed. Says h/w decoder not supported. Rubbish and totally unusable.

Mx Player Pro I just got a SG3, and I used to use this app on a captivate. The stock video player on the SG3 has come a long way since the stock player on captivate. I still found myself missing Mx player pro for whatever reason.

The best Android player crippled by loss of DTS codec. I really enjoy the player, it works better than most and has a really nice interface. Unfortunately, many of my higher quality videos have no sound on the latest few updates. It's great that you're supporting Jellybean so soon, but how about getting the licensing issues fixed so customers such as myself get what we paid for?

Simply amazing! Nexus 7 w/JB 4.1.1 Tried the FREE Version earlier today and decided right off I would buy the PRO Version. Great for video playback. I use another app to stream media from my son's gaming pc to my Nexus 7 and it's been performing almost flawlessly so far. We did notice some terrible stuttering when trying to stream an .mkv Blu-Ray rip to my Nexus 7 but my son assures me it's something he should be able to fix. Have no idea what he'll do as I am mostly tech illiterate. I know we used the SETTINGS to run all 4 cores but, the only way it'd work properly was using the SW setting for the Media Streaming--slight loss of image quality. I'm sure we'll get it sorted here someway. /// I'm going to edit my previous review because I seem to have hit a bit of a snag..? Having some trouble playing certain .mp4 files on my Nexus 7. It's strange because all of our Blu-Rays are ripped the exact same way: one 1080p .mkv copy for the HTPC & TV's and one 720p .mp4 copy for our mobile devices. But MX simply refuses to play some of the movies. Very strange. \

Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Great video player! My only complaint is that when I start it with the volume at minimum (mute), turning up the volume doesn't work. I have to exit the app, adjust the volume and return to the app. After that, the volume control works perfectly.

The best video player for android A great video player with excellent codec support and menus,perfect for the nexus 7 and its limited default video file support. Only criticism is that jelly bean's software buttons can't be disabled during playback yet and that lock mode on the nexus 7 doesn't seem to work either. Worth supporting the devs, and you remove the ads too.

Great App, but double subtitle needs improvement This is a great video player for my Nexus 7, but I find out when I turn on the second subtitle, they don't both show up on the screen, but the one with a slightly later time offset overwrites on the first one. Would give 5 stars if this is fixed.

Needs better support for Tegra 3 and Nexus 7 Works pretty well on my Nexus 7 tablet, but some videos won't play. Apparently, the S/W decoder has some known stability issues on Tegra 3 devices. Also, there doesn't seem to be any H/W decoding support on my tablet yet either. If these are fixed, I'd definitely give it 5 stars.

Good On G/Note but Poor On Nexus 7 I have been using this player for a while on the Galaxy Note where it works well. Unfortunately, its awful on the N7. Playing MP4's or WMV's, The sound keeps stopping, and its impossible to get it full screen (soft nav keys always shown below video). Other video players do allow full-screen. I tried the Arm7 codec pack, but this wont allow hardware decoding on the N7 for most of the formats I have tried. Hopefully these issues can be fixed, cause MX Player is the best of the bunch on my Galaxy Note.
