Mirage Beta в Android Market

Mirage Beta (v. 0.4.2.1)

Although Mirage can be used as a generic video player (and supports many formats),
it is currently designed as a http live streaming client.
It supports both encrypted and unencrypted streams and should be able to detect matching links.

Mirage can also be used as client to your Air Video or UPnP server(s).

Current version only supports neon and tegra based processors.
We are extending the list of supported devices.

Very Impressed and very impressive Inadvertently found out about this app and have to say i'm very impressed with it. Tested it on a Nexus S 4G and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7, using Air Video Server and Playback (UPnP app for Mac). Picked up both servers and played back almost all i tried. Ofcourse some stuff lagged, but those were files with insane bit rates. The Nexus S and Galaxy Tab 7 play back well because of their potent PowerVR SGX GPU vs the Adreno in Snapdragon devices (most HTC) and Tegra2 (which has poor codec support anyway).

More device support needed It works fine on my Nexus One but not Samsung Galaxy S 2. The video playback wasn't really smooth though. Hopefully the support of SGS2 will be added.

Great app, some polish needed This app works great, however as the title indicates it is beta. I am using it on my Motorola Xoom and it works great, however all videos are full screen regardless of their original aspect ratio, it would be great if it could conserve that. Of course remote access to my air video server woulod be awesome (like on Air Video for iPad) However, I must say, great work !!!

Working pretty great now On my galaxy tab 10.1 (dunno why I can't edit my previous review) Also streams videos directly without live conversion, which is pretty great. How do I manage live conversion settings? e.g. target bitrate/bandwidth?

It detected the air video shares but when I try to play it, the audio is really bad. Hope there are more updates for it cause it seems promising.

Works great, but with my air video linux server 720p videos are sent as-is with no compression. my poor Desire S does not handle that very well;)

Almost Hi, app works finds server automatically, browsing works but playing doesn't start (black screen that then reverts to server). Passowrd in automatically found server cannot be set. Host computer doesn't show CPU load increase after trying to play either.
