Works a little Works as a remote but can't set recordings. I tell it to start, come home and no go. Don't have the sling adapter so no feedback on that.

Never home so great Only down side is four smart phones, tablet, and bed room tv have to share access. Only one can be on at a time. If someone hits bedroom tv I get booted.

Unacceptable Attention: You will PAY for the necessary equipment to FAIRLY support this app, however this app is glitchy in properly functioning at one moment and freezing-up at another. Slingbox & Dish are treading on thin ice of some major customer retaliation. Just a matter of time & the legal-minded subscriber to come along to find the issues with this product.

Problem is with the DVR Although my DVR is hardwired to my router, it "disconnects" from the internet preventing me from watching recorded shows on other devices via this app. Only fix is to "reset connection" and run "diagnostics", which defeats the purpose of TV anywhere when no one is home to perform the fix. Everything else in my home has kept a solid connection with my internet except the DVR, which has been replaced and hardwired by Dishnetwork tech. Dishnetwork has to admit and address this problem.

Kerb I think for what I paid and others paid for this network we should be able to get better service and quality!!! I was told that my DVR needs a software update and it would fix most of my problems but I can't get that update until July. 4 months away, and this connection issue is bull crap! Half the time I can't watch on my phone cause its saying I need to reset my connection! And when it is on it buffer so bad I just give up! COME ON DISH NETWORK!!! Fix these issues

Doesn't work at all! Every time I try to log on, it says "service is temporarily unavailable (1002)" been doing it ever since I bought the sling and it was installed. Works on my wife's iPhone 4s. It'd be great if dish network customer service actually listened to my problem instead of telling me to try again in a few hrs. I'VE HAD THIS APP FOR A WEEK AND TRIED EVERY DAY!!! TERRIBLE!!!

Waste of space This app is very buggy and refuses to connect to my sling box. It always says to check connection on my cable box and it doesn't connect either way. Needs to be updated to fix the issues.

Works great Two other things i have figured out.... only 1 person can use the sling adapter at a time. Also quality of watching depends on the strength of the signal to the sling adapter. And the strength of either the wify signal or the g signal to your device. Low signal equals bad picture and lots if buffering... i have not had any other problems

This app needs a lot of work. While there are a lot of neat things this app can do it is the little things that it can not do that screw it up. 1. The menus for the TV guide and the DVR are both locked into portrait mode. 2. If it thinks you are roaming it will not let you watch any videos at all. 3. The button to change modes is labeled wrong. To go into high quality mode you have to press the s.quality button and to go into standard quality mode you have to press the h.quality button.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus S do not install Tried app several times and crashes every time I try to run first time after the install (and every time after that)! No ICS support. Dissapointing... I paid $100 for Sling adapter for my VIP-722, and no mobile support on my awesome phone, this sux. Hopefully soon!?! (slapping my arm).

Better than the Clicker!!! I use this app. frequently versus the standard guide with clicker than comes with Dish. I use my mobile phn as my Dish remote control. Search or view whats on, preview movie reviews and if I see something I like...choose it and watch on my TV live or set it to my DVR! A great tool and happy Customer!

It's ok but needs a lot of work It works pretty good and it's a nice app. it just has poor compression and video on mobile device and the app causes the sling box to reboot a lot when you skip forward or back or even pause sometimes. I love the capabilities of the app and slingbox, they just need a LOT of work

Only single search There is no way to reset the search function. I do one search then have to exit the app and restart in order to get the search input box back.

Inconsistent on Rezound I installed it where I live, in NW PA and i got the force close error and then traveled to Central OH and worked flawlessly on 4g, 3g and wifi. Returned to PA...and got the same error again...wifi 3g, 4g it matters not. Epic fail! Thanks to the 2/24 update it works now.

Useless Have loaded and unloaded this app several times. Did not work on LG Optimis nor does it work on Samsung galaxy s II. It wont let me log in at all. Keeps saying invalid pass and id. But I use the same on the dish site. Useless app

Worked on HTC Incredible, not HTC Rezound force close on HTC Rezound... will not even open! I've got great, new multimedia phone and cannot use my favorite app... truly unhappy. Works great on 722 Works great. Sometimes have to refresh to pick up connection with receiver. Better quality video than original sling box and app doesn't cost $30 like the sling app! Best value and best way to watch your home TV anywhere. High quality video on Galaxy Nexus and Xoom, thru wifi, 3g, and 4g. Even works great on wifes OG Droid!

Problems but works I have it singled out to the brand new sling or this app. Have to open app close then reopen to connect and runs at random speeds from 8 Kbps to over 1000 on 3g. Very random even at home on the 10 Mbps wifi internet. I am a computer technician so I do know things, and I know the app is most likely the problem. Samsung galaxy s2 epic

Wait a minute Although the app opens, it is not necessarily connected to your box yet. Wait a minute (depending on your internet) and DVR, guide etc should show. Frustrating at times. Overall I like using the app once it finally connects.

Partially works on Razr (DVR issues remain) Switched from D2G to Razr. Had same issues as before, now access to DVR. I was constantly being told to reset my connection. Still didn't work after resetting and nothing was wrong with connection in the first place. I was messing around with it the other night and almost fell over when I had access to my recordings and the remote. It didn't last long however. I have since gotten it to 'work' again by playing around and doing a refresh, my DVR, On right now, refresh, my DVR. This will occasionally give me access but it only last for a brief period and almost always never sticks for more than an hour or so. I think they are getting there but I am not ready to get excited yet. Wife still has D2G and some of the same problems remain on her phone.

Stilll not working since November 2011 Still not working after the 2/21/12 Update..Has not worked properly since November 2011. According the Dish Support web site forums it has been broken since October when Dish rolled out a software (firmware) update for the Block Buster Movie Pass. It doesn't matter if you have 922, 722 or 722K receiver, this has been having connection issues on all three receivers. Technicians are constantly having customers try different settings on their home wireless network, switching hardware, blaming ISPs, etc.. and it still does not resolve the issue. Until Dish network fixes the bug in their receiver(s) firmware this will not work!!! I have a Droid Razr, Dish ViP722 receiver with Sling Adapter and the Netgear USB adapter Dish sold me, AT&T DSL with Motorola 2247-N8 Gateway. Latest issue I am experiencing with this app is a message stating "Connection Failed. Please make sure your receiver and Android Device is connected to the Internet." I checked my connections and I was connected. Turns out my Sling Adapter went bad, however as of 2/12/2012 the issue of the receiver not staying connection is still there and will be still there until Dish Fixes the Firmware on the 722 receiver!

Works great when network configed right Most people with issues with connection on their receivers just need to make sure their router/modem are UPnP compat. I was having issues and i put my modem inbridged mode and got a new gigabit/N router and never had another issue. However I guess most would rather not try anything instead of fixing problems.

Great on Galaxy Nexus Works great. A little annoying that the receiver has to be turned on by viewing live tv before you can watch dvr recordings, but that has nothing to do with the app.

Bad app I've had this app since it was first released and it's no better now. Connectivity issues in spite of solid internet connection, timers created with this app are always messed up. No real support from Dish.
