**NOTE: This app has been retired! Which means that I will not provide updates, and Boxee.tv is not going to be supported.

This is the simplest WiFi remote for Boxee you'll find!
With only your thumb, you can control your Boxee. You don't even have to look at the remote app in your phone, just swipe away :)

Navigation with this remote is done by swipe gestures: swipe your thumb up, to navigate up in Boxee. Swipe down to navigate down, etc. Tap to select an item in Boxee.
Simple, ah?

There are other features too:
* Auto detection of a Boxee server.
* Physical BACK button is mapped to Boxee's BACK (set in app settings).
* Android soft-keyboard will send keys to Boxee, e.g., when there is a text-box open in Boxee.
* Seek to a specific time by tapping the progress bar.
* Automatically pauses a playing video upon a phone call!
* Support for password protected Boxee

Awesome The app found my Boxee as soon as I started it up. That was it fir setup, no fuss. Was blown away when my phone rang and it paused Boxee automatically! A must have even for those whose dog didn't chew the factory Boxee remote control!

Locks up the Boxee Screensaver The app is one of the best boxee remotes, but if your Boxee goes into screensaver mode while this remote app is running your Boxee will eventually freeze up requiring a hard reboot. This can burn your screen if you have a plasma. I think it may have something to do with all the extra information this app provides about the currently playing file.

Amazing almost magic like app If you have a boxee box and an android device this is fully with a play. Its almost as simple as point to do. Does flash up network connection lost a few times but it reconnects almost immediately. This has made my week with its ease of use.

Takes a little experimenting, works great! My oroginal Boxee remote stopped working, I was very pleased to find several apps for android to replace it. This one is among the best. The auto-discover feature didn't work on my home network, but once I entered the address of the boxee manually, it was up and running in seconds. Great app!

Works very well on T10A ICS Took me a minute to figure out where the swipe zone was (the album art when in pandora app for example). Once I got the hang of it and adjusted the sensitivity, I was off and running! Was very impressed at how the app automatically detected my boxee box and how fluid and responsive it is.

Really is the best remote out there for any device This works incredibly well - and I was a skeptic to the "thumb remote". Turns out, it's the best way to get around Boxee and even puts their remote to shame. Very much worth the download for any Boxee owners. The two drawbacks are - the non-error errors (when Boxee is busy the remote flashes an error saying it can't connect, which is something I am sure is my fault for not changing the refresh rate); and Boxee's inability to deal with it as a mouse. The second is really Boxee's fault, not this app.

Does what it says on the tin I've been using this for 6 months and as long as the wifi signal is strong iron is great, with poor signal the actions get queued which can be frustrating when signal returns. Good job anyway dev!
