Simple and great This player is perfect and the sleep timer is better than any other player. Unlike other apps you can set the shake threshold so that loud books don't just play infinitely because the speaker shakes the phone slightly.

Does what it says on the tin Great app, love the simple user interface. I use this app everyday to listen to audiobooks on my commute to work & would (and have) very much recommend it. My only complaint / request is that I would love it to handle Bluetooth headset keypresses. I use a bluetooth headset and I'd like to be able to pause / resume the book by pressing the appropriate button - this happens more often than you'd think.

Decent app, but Listen Audiobook Player better. I've tried a variety of audiobook players. I kept on going back to this app, which is still very good, but I would have to recommend Listen Audiobook Player as a better app.

Well over 1000 hours of usage. Thats's not an overstatement. I made some rough calculations and realized that i have listened to every Discworld novel (many of them more than once) and a great deal of Stephen Kings novels using this app. I have listened to a lot more than that but i stopped counting when i reached 1000 hours and realized it was time to donate! I simply can't live without you'r app and it's worth every penny. Good work!

Lots of random FC in JB. FC on start 3/5 times random FC after a min or two and wake locks like crazy if left paused.

Folder scan??? It is a great player. However is it possible to tell it where the books folder is? So far I have created a /audiobooks folder in the root and then a symlink /audiobooks/audiobooks pointing to the directory where the SD card is mounted. If I remove the /audiobooks only option, then the player sees all the music, which I am finding frustrating.

The scanning function is poor, it is difficult to get it to recognize new books, books that you have made changes to, and to forget old books.

Works awesome. Developer listens, good features. Most used app on my phone by far. Excellent. Sometimes crashes, but few and far between and I suspect something else is the cause. Try the free ad version, but this one is worth the $.

I wish I made this :-) Does exactly what it is designed to do. And it does it well. To the other guy that got music indexed as well: there's is a setting that will make the app only index your audiobook folder. Rtfm!
