Coastal Scuba aims to provide the best service and support for our guests. In accordance with that goal we have released our Android app to provide:
    Direct access to some of our most important web pages.
    Contact numbers for local calls and an 800 number as well.
    Map locations of our dive shop and the boat dock we launch from.

The Grand Strand is loaded with some of the best dive sites on the East Coast!!  We have a high concentration of beautiful natural shipwreck sites that range in age from the mid 1800's to the 1960's, with many from the Civil War and WWII era.  We also have several reefs that contain intact ships!  While you're here, be sure to check out Barracuda Alley,- a project spear-headed by Coastal Scuba and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources!

Our dive sites are usually teaming with marine life, including angel fish,  grouper, amberjack, butterfly fish, great Atlantic barracuda, sea turtles, and even the occasional lobster!  In recent years even lionfish have been discovered living on our wrecks!  On many of the sites you may find "sunken treasures" of brass artifacts that went down with the ship.  These may include Civil War belt buckles, trigger guards, gun butt plates, bottles, china, small personal items, and port holes,-  just to name a few.

Coastal Scuba brings together years of experience from its captains, instructors and dive masters.  Our goal is to make your diving experience the best you have had in the Carolinas, with something to offer every diver from the newly certified, to the seasoned veteran.  Thank you for making us your first choice in South Carolina scuba diving charters and lessons!

We are proud to present the Safari IV!  This 45 foot customized dive boat is sleek enough to get you to dive sites quickly, sturdy enough to offer you stability against the occasionally unpredictable Atlantic, and yet roomy and spacious on board, complete with a full size head (bathroom), 2 ice coolers for your snacks, and a professional crew.   She carries all Coast Guard required equipment including first aid kit and oxygen.  

We are also proud to announce the addition of the Little River Fishing Fleet to our company!:  The Pride of the Carolinas and the Sundancer are outfitted for both fishing and scuba diving, running trips year round based on customer demand.

Remember, demand for diving is high in the summer, so please book early.  All weekends are especially busy. Touch Diary


1. Diary Item Setting
Application initially includes commonly used diary ideas. Weather, Me, Family, Health, and Work are them.

These diary items could be edited or deleted by the user. Application user might want to add additional diary ideas for own interest. Items could be any kind of subjects for daily life.

Each diary item has its own photo, name and icon properties. All the item properties could be modifed. After item properties update, save them before leaving the settings page.

Important note:
When deleting the diary item, all the Diary entries associated with this item will be deleted and could not be recovered.


2. Daily Diary
Diary is entered/edited in daily basis. Each diary items has additional NOTE (comment) property.

At the Diary form, user could generate Daily Report and save on the storage. When saving the reports, new folder will be created under the report folder at the daily basis.

Storage location is at the "touchdiary" folder under the SD Card root folder.

Touch Diary has File Explorer function for the convinience.


3. Diary Report
Diary entries can be analyzed and viewed by using Report function. There are two main report options; monthly and yearly.

All the generated reports would be saved on the storage for the later references.

Report Format: jpg, html
Daily: mm-dd-yy-DR-xxxxxxx
Monthly: mm-dd-yyyy-MR-xxxxxxx
Yearly: mm-dd-yyyy-YR-xxxxxxx


4. File Explorer
Application includes a special File Explorer function. File Explorer is found under the View History and named as View Files menu.

It also has File Rename and File Delete sub menu. To see sub menu, make LONG CLICK on the item from the file list.


5. Password Setting
Initial application password is blank, and could entered app without password requirement. If needed, application can be protected with password.
