The first true Meetup.com client available for Android. Search/browse/join nearby meetup groups, keep up with events in your own groups, RSVP and check in at events, and upload photos to share with the rest of the community.

NOTE:
RSVP *does* work, as described in the help text. If you are having problems with it, then send an email so that together we can find out why it isn't for you. Simply leaving a comment saying that it doesn't help anyone.

Always very useful Displays what you need to see very quickly and after using it for a while I can work around the limitations (its never really been updated but its still the best way to quickly check a meetup). I think people are judging it far too harshly for what it is.

In-Your-Face ads You folks need to find a better way to display advertisements. Can't stand looking at them but I know other apps I use have advertisements and I don't mind as much. Must be placement or something. Suggestion Box: Find a way to provide real time data for venue location or location of individuals participating. Perhaps a Foursquare or Google Latitude bridge or maybe just mapping + GPS to keep it simple and not involve too many other orgs the user has to join. Could always have Latitude / Foursquare integration just for submitting reviews. Perhaps do the location thing only during active events or perhaps up to an hour prior. That will eliminate any security problems. Jim C.

Its ok Minus one star for small screen view it is extremely frustrating as is the event view with no day and time listed.. Minus another star. Sadly its not an end all to meetups even more dismal app. The developer says send email if you have issues or questions . I made the effort... But no response was given. Minus another star.

Ads for free PORN unacceptable I don't need to have lude naked people flash into the ad area every time I try to use this app. I have never searched for porn and no one else has access to my phone, so its not due to the app's ads being geared toward my search or website histories. Please know I have no problem with ads being a part of any free app. But really, is this app so awful that only porn is willing to buy ad space? Uninstalling.

Works well Considering its free. I had a period where it was completely unresponsive, but a few cycles of installing/uninstalling brought it back. I will also agree with other comment, they shouldnt show past meetups on the list...

Not bad at all Its fine in its current form. My first try was on a tablet so I was disappointed that there's not a tablet version. Still, its got appeal over the official meetup app. I like the simplicity. I might pay for the paid version if a tablet version is created.

UI needs major work. One deal breaker is that UI doesn't scale up to 720x1280 on my Rezound. Also, showing past meetups is a very annoying bug.

As well documented as the Meetup API is they could of done a better job. However it is download worthy and not worth the time to dev your own app.
