[2013-05-28] A Google User: Can’t add accounts Can’t add accounts. “Snap link stopped working” error when configuring on Samsung Galaxy note SGH-I717M. |
[2013-04-30] A Google User: This app does not work properly. Go with SuperLink if you have a Galaxy S3. |
[2013-04-16] A Google User: Crashes far too often HAI is not maintaining this software. It crashes almost every time I use it. Superlink is a far better app and it's funny that it is cheaper and designed by a 3rd party user. Seriously HAI you need to get your software up to date across all platforms. |
[2013-02-08] A Google User: Buggy. Does not alert me when home alarm goes off |
[2013-01-02] A Google User: Doesn't Read Temps Automatically Had for about a year & temps don't read correctly unless manually reretrieve setup. HAI aware but hasn't done anything. In general, an OK app, but that's about it. |
[2012-12-31] A Google User: Too many steps It takes way too many steps to do any action. Then interface is way out of date and slow to load. It is also way too expensive for what you get. Only upside is that the app controls my HAI as advertised. I switched to SuperLink and I'm much happier. |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Garbage - Less than one star. Worked one time on ver1, the day it came out. It hasn't worked since their first update. I even changed phones twice thinking it was my old phone issue to no Avail. I can still connect to my system remotely using "Snaplink USB" & "HAI PC Access". To think I've been a loyal HAI Installer. Why should I support HAI if HAI won't support those pushing & installing their product? HIRE A PROGRAMMER! FOR THIS CRAPPLICATION! FYI. I haven't sold an hai panel in 2 years because of this. |
[2012-11-10] A Google User: JUNK Won't run on my Incredible IV. Junk software. |
[2012-09-15] A Google User: Puritan Android version not fit for purpose, very disappointed . |
[2012-09-10] A Google User: Disregard the old negative comments, all that is fixed. Works great on Moto Atrix, and Moto Atrix HD. Fast and no monthly charges. |
[2012-07-16] A Google User: Not enough effort Crashes on open over 90% of the time. Crashes always when trying to update a user setting of type duration. |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: BUGGY This app is really buggy. It does not show data. The iPhone app works great. This is a pile of ...... |
[2012-05-30] A Google User: UPdate removes accounts so it won't work Yikes, this is crazy. Need to work this issue out or get some new programers. otherwise is a great app. |
[2012-05-16] A Google User: Used to work...ok Updates as mentioned wiped out my accounts...very poor planning |
[2012-05-08] A Google User: Do not upgrade In addition to the problems already mentioned, the app now Force Closes frequently. |
[2012-05-05] A Google User: Bad, Bad, Bad My phone just updated the app and it completely removed all of my accounts on my phone! Now I have to re-enter back all my accounts and find all the security IDs and configurations for each and every one of them. HAI needs to put a patch in or instruction on how to recover the accounts. I have plenty of customers that I get called from. Who will be paying for the frustration of my HAI customers and I. HAI should do something very quickly. |
[2012-05-04] A Google User: Settings! Gone again, 2 updates in 3 days and you didn't fix it from wiping the settings |
[2012-05-02] A Google User: What the hell? Just updated app and it completely wiped out the account on my phone! Now I have to re-enter twenty cameras plus encryption key, etc.. ! When this happens to my customer will you be paying me to go reprogram their phones?! Been pretty disappointed with hai lately |
[2012-05-02] A Google User: Acct wiped out Yep, pretty much what everyone else is saying. Accts r gone. WTG HAI, wtg. :-/ |
[2012-04-23] A Google User: Crapware Works ok. When program doesn't read temperature or device status you have to go to account and retrieve set up. This is highly annoying. Fix this for4. Update. As of right now is bricked and is a POS. I am an installer I can no longer recommend your product |
[2012-03-29] A Google User: Jake Its an ok app |
[2012-03-24] A Google User: SNAPLINK w00t |
[2012-03-21] A Google User: Gotten better with time. Many of the errors that i initially had issues with have been resolved. Good app but is rarely updated |
[2012-03-19] A Google User: Superlink better than Snaplink Please fix screen alignment oñ razr maxx. Worked great on thunderbolt but not so good on razr maxx |
[2012-02-17] A Google User: Not impressed Just some additional user interface....like i would like my zones to status without poking thru the menu...and i want the capability for auto notification when the system is armed or there is an alarm....just needs ALot of work!!!!! |
[2012-01-10] A Google User: Disappointing, I know HAI can do better... I'm very disappointed; the status reported on lights are wrong more than 50% of the time (WTH) ... the app is missing security zone status altogether!! HAI you can do better. I'm on an EVO running Android 2.3.3 and the latest update of SnapLink. At this point in the game this very basic functionality should be a given and the app should be functioning correctly. Come on! By now your updates should be focused on providing widgits and functionality like hiding buttons & controls. Pull it together guys. |
[2011-12-27] A Google User: It works. That's about it. Does what its supposed to but unlike the competing app, Snaplink is very lack-luster and costs $10 more. It's also frustrating to have to pick from a drop down menu after selecting a unit or feature to control; too much like an Apple interface. Pick the item, select the setting, press ok....why not just pick the item them have all contol cleanly displayed? Tap up/down temps or and fully controllable lighting is so much nicer. And to top it off bug fixes and feature add requests are out of the question. |
[2011-12-27] A Google User: No problems, works great! I have an OmniPro IIe with no cams. I would like a future version to be able to show my the status of all my various doors and sensors like how you can on the Weblink software. I've used this on DroidX, Xoom, and GNex with no issues. |
[2011-12-23] A Google User: Best hai app for Android Manages multiple accounts well without reload each time. PLEASE ADD FAVORITES FEATURE. Its the only advantage that the competing app has. |
[2011-12-22] A Google User: Poor Poor GUI. Not intuitive to enter keys. Buggy |
[2011-12-03] A Google User: galaxy s1 works great all featuers no problems Melbourne aus |
[2011-10-19] A Google User: Crashes every time you open cameras. |
[2011-10-19] Andrew: Crashes every time you open cameras. |
[2011-10-16] A Google User: Disappointed. Big time. It works, like all HAI products. But please get someone on staff that understands how people use things. If I select a light, ask it to dim to 25% then do it. Don't ask me "ok" It is like a 1990 intuition working here. Also, when you back up on droid, touchscreen, etc. don't take me all the way back to the start. Very useful for little things, but way overpriced when you have to supply a whole family with this. Was hoping HAI would break their mold here a bit. |

[2011-05-03] A Google User: Works just fine and is fast Running HTC w/ 2.1, took 3mins to setup and was running without a flaw. It's fast to navigate and is without a glitch. Dont' have any HAI connected cam's, so I'm only controling units, security, buttons and therms. |

[2011-05-02] A Google User: Disappointing, but it does function Running on a Motorola Droid, first generation, latest Android 2.2 code, SnapLink v1.3. It does work, I can confirm that. It is quirky, for example you must enter the encryption key in upper case. And I can't get it to re-download the HAI config to recognize new buttons or devices without re-initializing the entire app. If this was out a year ago I would gladly have accepted it. Now it is a bit late a bit short. Hoping it iterates quickly. |

[2011-04-20] A Google User: Camera issues Been waiting a long time for this and so far it looks pretty good. I am having a repeatable issue with cameras, though. Using the HAI camera server and can get it set up OK, but rotating the view invariably causes a FC. When the app is re-opened after that the camera(s) have disappeared and need to be set up again. |

[2011-04-18] A Google User: Better than initial release. Still not great... Worst issue was that the security keys are in a different format than the Omni stores them in. The lack of hyphens in the app don't make it readily evident that if you include the keys it will cause the UPDATED version of the app to crash instead of just fail to connect. How about a little common sense and some of the smaller features like hiding a lighting unit? |

[2011-04-17] A Google User: Working It Works! Make sure you disconnect. If you hit your back to exit while connected, the next open will give a FC. No dimming slider just 25% 50% 75% options. I also don't see flag time status. If a flag or unit is on a countdown you can see this on you touchpanel, but not this app. Been waiting so long... I like it! |
