DO YOU REALLY KNOW YOURSELF?
The self is your operation center, your consciousness and your moral compass and if you want to act more effectively and take better advantage of your talents, you have to get to know yourself better.
• Do you live with the right person?
• Is your job right for you?
• Do you hang out with the right friends?
Profile Analyzer is an application that quickly and precisely analyzes your behavioural style depending on which role you choose to act as – friend, husband, wife, colleague to name a few. It helps you to understand who you are and gives you an insight into your fundamental behavioural pattern.
DISC is the four quadrant behavioural model, based on the work of William Moulton Marston Harvard Ph.D. (1893 - 1947), to examine the behaviour of individuals in their environment or within a specific situation. DISC looks at behavioural styles and behavioural preferences. Ironically Marston is better known in many circles for his work in developing the lie detector. Marston’s “Emotions of Normal People” introduced the DISC theory to the public in 1928. He defined four categories of human behavioural styles, types or temperaments, now known as "D" for Dominance-Drive-Direct, "I" for Influence, "S" for Steadiness or Stability and "C" for Compliant, Conscientious, or Cautious. DISC has become one of the most popular and user friendly models for understanding behavioural styles and personality types. Until today, 80 years after the publication of his work, the model has been translated into more than 50 languages and is used by companies and organizations all over the world for leadership- and organization development. That reflection in itself makes it even more interesting, since we live in times of self-reflection with focus on the inner search for the true self; to be able to understand who you are, what you are made for and where you are headed.
How do others see you
By sharing your profile analysis with your friends and letting them assess you, you get a good picture of how they perceive you. And no doubt that they will be interested in your view of them. The application lets you share the results via sms, email and by posting it to Facebook. There’s even a file transfer function enabling you to share your result ad hoc with new acquaintances. There is no limit to how many tests you can take with Profile Analyzer. You determine the role, when you take the test and whose second opinion of your profile you’d like.
For business and pleasure
Profile Analyzer is both entertaining and interesting between friends or at a party, it sure makes a good talking piece, but why not use it as a preparatory tool before a job interview or some other important situation? It doesn’t hurt to come prepared. And maybe a little more enlightened about who you really are.
