The simplest way to locate someone or get located
Locate any device on google map in realtime, get your driving directions from your location to your friends location.

WORKS WITH ALL GSM(Not Tested for CDMA) DEVICES (Android v.2.1 and up).

Droid Locator allows you to locate any Android device by simply simply selecting their number. If Droid Locator is not installed on the remote device, then an invitation will be sent to it automatically.
Features:
* You can force location updates remotely at any time without the user having to take any actions and it does not matter if the application is running or not
* The ability to send a "SMS Ping", which will force an automatic location update of the remote device.
* Even if the phone is rebooted, Droid Locator will automatically resume tracking and updating its position!
* The ability to automatically send sms’s along with the location details of the phone when sim card changed or phone is stolen.
* There are no limits to the number of users to track
Droid Locator allows you to track you to know where your loved ones are with relation to you, and you can leverage all the google maps functionality like getting the driving direction, proximity to your location etc. You can now find out where they are, at anytime, as long as they have their Android phones with droid locator installed on it. You can also see yourself on the map and see nearby places and the proximity of the person you are trying to locate. Droid Locator also has the ability to send an SOS message along with its location details in case of the device getting stolen and sim card changed event.
How to make Droid Locator Work:
->Install Droid Locator.
->To get a remote location update, Enter the remote devices number or select one from your contacts and then click on Locate. The remote location would show in a map if the remote device has droid locator installed, or an invitation will be sent out to the remote device.
->Generate your friend list by selecting Broadcast settings and entering or selecting contacts from your contact list, these will be the numbers used for your location broadcast or SOS in case of sim change or phne getting stolen.
->Sim Track Settings: Here enter the sms that should go out to all the people you added in your list of friends, in case the sim is changed in the phone.(The IMSI number will also be sent along with that text), so essentially you will have the new number, IMSI and your custom message sent out to your friends as an SOS.
->Display Location: This will show your current location on the map.
->Broadcast: This will broadcast your location to everyone in your friend list in the form of SMS. You can also Share your location info in facebook, twitter or other social sites, along with having an option of mailing it or sending it through bluetooth.

Please note the following points:
-> For using droid locator to locate remote devices, you need droid locator to be installed on both the devices.

-> Droid Locator is an advertisement supported app, if you do want to remove the ads from the app please dont post unnessesary comments instead take some time and write in to me.

Well now there's a solution to help you locate anyone, anywhere all in real time!
All you need is an internet connection :)

There are many other ways to use Where Are You too:

- Perhaps you want to keep an eye on your kids on their way to and from school.

- Maybe you've been invited to a party but you haven’t been given an address.

- You’re planning a surprise party and want to see where the guest of honour is.

- You might have lost your own phone and want to locate it using another phone.

- You could track your vehicle by placing a device inside out of sight.

- I’m sure there are many more!

At the moment Where Are You uses data from another app/service (GPSTracker/InstaMapper), but I am building the same functionality into Where Are You, so expect plenty of updates and hopefully not too many bugs!

As this app uses the services of GPSTracker you will need to sign up for an account at http://www.instamapper.com, they will provide you with an API Key which you can then use in Where Are You to begin tracking.

Appetite Super Bock, a restaurant guide, has been the leader in its category in the Portuguese market since day one. Integrating the most advanced functionalities, it makes use of GPS coordinates to indicate the location of restaurants, as well as filters to show nearest restaurants and how to get there. Collection manager for books, music CDs, sheet music scores, and more! Add items to shelves by scanning their barcodes, searching online or entering details manually. You can organize them into collections you manage yourself. (Keywords: packrat inventory delicious library goodreads aldiko)

Designed as a general Android app to keep hold of any collections, Collectionista aims to fit in with the system and other apps, natively. Emphasis is on a beautiful presentation and a sound user experience. Examples are the book and CD covers that are automatically fetched off the internet, but which you can also change if you want to.

Each collection has some special actions for its items. An example is linking a CD to a playlist in your music player.

The goal is to become a manager of not only these typical media collections, but also of classic collectibles or even plain day-to-day items.

Collectionista integrates well on a broad range of devices and platform versions, including phones with small screens and full-size tablets.

Features:
• Create collections for books and CDs. As well as a generic collection for any other miscellaneous items. Create as many collections and name them as you want.
• Add items to a collection, such as books, music CDs or generic items. An item can hold a lot of related information.
• A collection is presented naturally, for instance in the form of a shelf with books on it.
• Use barcode scanning to add an item, using information downloaded from online databases.
• Online databases used are currently: Google Books and Discogs.
• Track when you created and last modified items.
• Covers are displayed and downloaded. They can be exchanged for images from your Gallery or elsewhere from your device. Also, back covers are shown.
• Rate your items.
• Mark whether you have read a book.
• Share an item title via a generated barcode. Easy to exchange with another phone.
• Long lists of items scroll fast and covers are only shown when they become visible. This keeps memory usage low.
• Covers are updated from the internet periodically and automatically (except if you chose the cover).
• App can be installed on SDcard. Your database is kept internally however, in accordance with the Android specification. A cache of cover images etc. on the other hand is kept on the SDcard. We make sure to follow the Android spec as to the location.
• Data is backed up to the Google cloud. It restores upon reinstall or when you buy a new phone. No action required. Depends on device support.
• A purple ActionBar at the top let's you easily navigate, perform common actions, and find your way back home.
• The workflow mimics the native workflow of Android apps. I.e. your data is always saved, unless you cancel, discard, or revert, even if you briefly switch to another application.
• We apply an extensive test suite before releasing new versions to prevent common problems/errors reappearing. While never 100% effective, this allows us to guarantee a certain level of quality eventually.
• All control and input methods are supported: touch, joyball, joystick, point-and-click, 4-way buttons, hardware keyboard, virtual keyboards, ... Any language input. Both portrait and landscape mode, and screen rotations.

This app is open-source. Any contributions are welcome and sincerely appreciated.
