Mais n’a ni voltigé ni prévu comme ses vacances se déroulent dans le temps réel. Indem er handelt, ohne Konsequenzen tragen zu müssen, entdeckt er, dass das wahre Leben spassiger, verrückter und interessanter ist als die Fiktion und begegnet dabei Fussbal-Hooligans, unehrlichen Tourführern, Domino-Stricherinnen, Wurzelverkäufern, transvestiten Karaoke-Stars, Toiletten-Massage-Gangs und Engeln. Nicht solchen mit Flügeln und Heiligenscheinen, sondern solchen mit G-Strings und hohen Absätzen. Während der Verfolgung der Befriedigung seiner oberflächlichen Triebe entdeckt er, dass er selbst in Gefahr schwebt, ein fiktionaler Charakter zu werden, und ringt darum, die Linie zwischen Fantasie und Wirklichkeit zu definieren. Denkend, die Wahrheit sei zu kompliziert, spinnt er ein Netz von Täuschungen, welches sich schliesslich entwirrt und ihn kopfüber in die Schmetterlingsfalle führt.

The Swindle

The Swindle is a re-edited version of Frank's debut novel. It looks at a sci-fi technology that creates a secretive futuristic product which is part of a global-scale swindle in the hundreds of billions of dollars. Anthony Brina is central to the project and becomes the innocent victim of a deadly program.
