Philips will phase out the Fidelio Android app and replace it with the new DockStudio app. Please download it from Google Play Store.

The Philips Fidelio app brings a suite of cool, new features to your Philips Fidelio docking speaker, including automatic Bluetooth connection, Songbird music player, worldwide Internet radio, sound settings control and a multi-function alarm clock.

Fidelio, with Songbird music player, lets you easily sync, browse, playback and manage music playlist from PC to your Android device.  And you can even share what you’re listening with friends on Facebook and view artist photos from Flickr.

In the Radio mode, Fidelio puts more than 7,000 radio stations worldwide at your fingertips. Browse through stations by genre, place or station name.  Simply enjoy and expand your musical horizons.
In the Clock mode, Fidelio lets you set multiple customized music alarms and get the latest weather information.
Fidelio is exclusively for use with Philips Fidelio docking speakers and Android smartphones. It is not compatible with any other docking speakers.

Horrible program Everytime I attempt to charge my phone, this program pops up. Everytime I try to connect to my Bluetooth headset, this program pops up. Everytime I try to sync my phone, the program pops up. It's always trying to sync to the dock. Give it up, Fidelio, the dock won't always be around.

Won't close I love my dock but half the time this app won't close. I have to try to close it 20 times before it finally will. Even my task killer can't force it to close.

Baldy made app, don't use it While the dock is excellent, this software sucks. Just install once to set the time, and then uninstall. It's through blue tooth, so use a better player like player pro and use the generic clock alarm. So long as you are connected through the blue tooth there is no need for this ungodly app. It'll just slow down your phone, hog memory, and never turn off

app is terrible.. In fact I would never have bought the speaker if I knew the app was this bad. Very slow transitioning between screens. Connecting to my BT headphones opens the app and stays running until bluetooth is closed. Connection is unreliable so it can't be used as an alarm clock, etc. etc. etc. No updates since January is ridiculous. Fix it!

No good. An android sound dock? Awesome! Why do I need to have an app to use it? Every time I try to charge my phone on something besides the docking station it asks if I want to connect to the app. The sound is ok bit I don't understand why I need the Phillips and songbird app to listen to my music.

Terrible app The speaker is great and works perfectly, but this app is a disgrace. No matter what mix of auto-run settings I use, it never seems to work as advertised. Even worse, after the app is connected to the dock for just five minutes, another instance of the app opens. When I try to close that, it just keeps restarting that second instance. And, every time I try to set an alarm, another instance opens that makes it impossible. I know that Android is difficult to design for, but it's like they didn't try.

App hunts for connection randomly App randomly wakes up and starts looking for connection to Philips speakers draining the battery. Happens in various places like in a car on the road, in the bedroom, etc. Luckily it appears one can uninstall the app after initial pairing and still use decent Philips speakers.

Software is a Memory Hog The Fidelio hardware is pretty amazing. The sound quality from the small Doc is suprisingly good. But this software is a Memory Hog!!! It tends to respond slow and really bog when using multiple Alarms. If Philips can just rework the software and make it more efficient the Fidelio Brand will be the best on the market. One thing I really want the app to have is a way to Change the snooze duration time and allow for adding snooze with multiple press' of the button. Please Improve this software and you will have a real winner...

Not needed This isn't needed. Clock sync is the only useful thing. Dated slow hard to navigate. If you have the dock ignore this app. Dock is nice without the app.

Does Phillips read these reviews? If so, they should know that their product is losing market share simply because this app is so limited and could be so much more. For example, there is no help or documentation I can find. I can't for the life of me get the graphic equalizer to function (a feature I just stumbled on because its not documented). The 'dynamic bass boost' is permanently off and won't respond to my attempts to change it. Choosing the different equalizer presets (like pop, rock, etc) seems to have absolutely no effect (even though a tick appears next to the chosen preset). Philips, LISTEN: You've wasted all that money developing the hardware and seem to be skimping on the software that makes it worthwhile. Either that or the developers you have hired are lacking imagination and skill.

You don't need this app Horrible UI and extremely clunky. See all the other reviews for the full list of problems with this app. I uninstalled after 30 minutes of trying to get it to even find and pair with the speakers. I then manually paired the speakers to phone and it works flawlessly. Using the speakers for 3 days straight with no app and no problems.

Far to buggy For some reason app will change alarm settings by itself. Set up alarm to go off mon-fri and app will randomly change so it goes off everyday. Also once changed alarm time by itself. Worth less.

Really quite buggy Being forced to use this app for my alarm clock is quite annoying. The snooze stops after I hit it 3 times, I used to have an alarm set for 8 that still goes off every day even though the alarm for that time doesn't exist, and 90% of the songs I try to pick for the alarm don't work. Not good. No wonder the Fidelio line doesn't sell well.

DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS APP Or Songbird. As you can tell from the thousands of posts they're simply poor programs. Just connect to the speaker through the phone's bt menu and use whatever music program you already have. It makes the speaker infinitely better!

Meh The app is good for two things: setting the clock, and adding the Bluetooth pairing. Once the pairing is done you can delete the app, and use your regular alarm / music / radio programs with Bluetooth enabled, the base acts like a wireless speaker and charger whenever a phone is plugged in. I do wish there was a way to make the base station leave Bluetooth running while the phone is off the base, and a way to set the clock without the app - there are better music and alarm apps.

Disconnects my main poster from other Bluetooth devices I have Bluetooth JVC stereo in my car and every time I connect to Bluetooth this.program blocks the streaming from meridian so I can only use their bloatware songbird app. I don't want to your crappy as140/37 stereo dock that bad. the hardware controls don't work over the Bluetooth and its offensive that I have to install an app to pair the devices. I dealt with it until you hijacked my Bluetooth . Shame on you Philips

stacking? never thought I'd complain about this software,always worked until today i learnt its not reliable for an alarm clock as ne text, mail or various notifications cause it to either sleep or restart on top of itself an the alarm doesn't then work. galaxy s3.

Sucks bad don't download! ! It could use more imagination. The only reason I have it, is to control the radio via remote. It plus through the original music player just fine. It shuts off when you get a text and you have to hit the volume button. The volume buttons don't work on your phone while listening to radio. You have to use a slide bar. Can't adjust any audio from phone or the radio it self. Song bird is a waste of space there is no need for it. But the star is for the thought. And there is alot of room for improve it.

Horrible, Unusable App I bought the Fidelio docking speaker that looks like an alarm clock, to use as an alarm clock. Unfortunately this really horrible app makes it IMPOSSIBLY DIFFICULT AND AWKWARD TO USE as an alarm clock. The start-up and shutdown of the app is a disaster. It does not close down by itself. If you press back and confirm that you want to exit it just carries on running in the background and sits in the notification area. The user interface is extremely poorly designed. The slider handle interferes with either the soft menu key at the bottom or the notification area at the top. I did not think it possible for a large reputable company to be pushing out such rubbish. Speakers sound great though. Will unfortunately be returning those tomorrow as the app ruins the whole package.

Not good! I like the Philips docking station but it doesn't work. Loaded song bird also connected and paired Bluetooth. No sound...disconnect Bluetooth sound. Tried many different times source was set to bluetooth. Also fidelio was coming on and off on its own. And songbird app was pretty worthless for me. Uninstall both! Samsung Nexus

Slow and unreliable This app is sooo slow. If I press a button I have to wait 10 seconds for anything to happen which is annoying when trying to set an alarm. It crashes on me all the time and I have to force close it. It should tell you how long till your alarm will go off and if it is snoozing. I have thought that I snoozed it and actually turned it off and slept in. Terrible app. Should work like alarmdroid app but with a nice interface like you have tried to create.

Love it! This app and the stereo are great. As far as the complaints in other reviews, I believe Philips addressed these with the option to autoconnect as well as the option not to launch the app when docked. 5 Stars!
