[2013-01-05] A Google User: Great! I used to have Bedside, but it didn't work after an ICS update. I'm glad it did, because I like this clock better. I can use my own font, which means it is now so bold and clear that I can read it without my glasses. |

[2012-11-07] A Google User: My New Favorite What I need in an alarm clock: 1: The numbers need to be big enough for someone with old eyes to see it. I can increase the size of the numbers on this clock so they are large enough for my needs, but I wish I could enlarge them just a little more in horizontal mode. 2. A dark background. Very Good. Some are bright enough for a night light. 3. The ability to choose songs for the alarm. My previous favorite didn't have this which is why this is my new favorite. 4. Simplicity. 150 settings just to set an alarm so I will wake up on time is unnecessary. This clock's settings are relatively simple, but I would like just 3-4 more which will be explained below. What I don't need: The date and time that the next alarm is set for, or the current day and date. I'm old, not stupid or suffering from dementia. Yet. The battery charge is nice, but not necessary since I always plug my phone in when using it for my alarm clock. Weather is nice, but I already have a nice app for that. If I could choose what was displayed on the screen in the settings and be able to increase the numbers to fill the screen, it would be perfect. Until then I can only give it 4 stars. So close. |

[2012-09-10] A Google User: Best bedside alarm clock! So glad able to adjust brightness from main screen. Next suggestion be able to set times for max brightness and when to dim automatically. I've tried every alarm clock app on the play store and this has the best simple polished feel to it. Great job Dec. |

[2012-09-09] A Google User: Best of the Bunch I like this app, I looked at a lot but this has one of the better designs and functionality. It also works as advertised, especially the in/out dock sensing to activate the app is flawless. I hope that some improvements will be made like being able to link to a music playlist rather than just one song for the "wake to music" mode or possibly being able to link to a TuneIn radio station. It would also be cool to scroll some headlines during each alarm using the Google weather and news app required for the weather functionality. Just a couple of thoughts to improve the already great app. |
