(This is the full version of My Recipes Lite+)
My Recipes is an app that allows you to store, organize, and share your personal recipes. Unlike those other apps that force you to use THEIR recipes, this app allows you to store YOUR OWN recipes...creating your own virtual cookbook.
Features:
- Facebook integration...tell your friends what you are cooking!
- Use your own images for your recipes
- Create grocery lists from your recipe ingredients!
- Sync your recipes with Dropbox to backup your recipes and to view or modify them from your computer or other mobile devices!
- Flip your phone to landscape orientation when viewing a recipe to see the ingredients on the left and the instructions on the right!
- Cooking for a large crowd? Change the proportions of a recipe with a click of a button if you’d like to half, double, triple, or quadruple the ingredients of a recipe.
- Disable your lock screen when you are viewing a recipe.
- Simply email a recipe to a friend.
- Turn ads on or off.
- Tag your recipes with descriptive keywords to make them easy to find.
- Search your recipes by ingredient!
- Import recipes from popular websites!

[2013-06-27] A Google User: I can't speak highly enough about this app The developer is very responsive to questions and issue resolution. My wife and I have this loaded on 2 tablets and 2 cell phones. Every Sunday we sit down with our tablets and the grocery sale ads and plan our menu for the next week. If we are at a store and think "oh, we should make xxx, but I don't remember what the recipe calls for", we simply look in our phones! Sync'ing to Dropbox is slow, and sometimes confusing when using multiple devices, but once you sync "the master device", the others will sync just fine. I recommend only sync'ing via wireless. We have 3 fridges/freezers and a large pantry, I would love to have an app that tells me what's in each of them - right now we use an Excel spreadsheet (hint, hint Brian!). |

[2013-06-21] A Google User: Excellent, although can't enter recipes online Excellent app. Although entering new recipes via Dropbox online doesn't work any more, I can still do this in the DB folder on computer. The import function is totally useless and only encumbers the sharing options, but can live happily with this flaw as long as I can cut and paste. |

[2013-05-21] A Google User: Finally!! An app for MY recipes that is clear!! Have looked for an app that doesn't have all the fluff and junk of a website or that requires a website registration to input recipes. If you want something to store YOUR recipes, share them, yet still have the ability to edit using the web (Dropbox - sooooo simple!!) this IS your program. Love that it is on my phone for when I am out shopping or sharing with friends. Runs crisp and fresh. IDEA - This would be super to form a RECIPE CLUB or share FAMILY HERITAGE RECIPES - just use the same Dropbox address (remember, they can delete your recipes - beware who you invite.) |

[2013-04-26] A Google User: OK, but not great I was trying to decide between this and another recipe collection app, and I have to say that this one doesn't really match up in my opinion. The recipe importing feature isn't really robust enough for me. There are only 4 sites that you can import from, and even with those 4, you can only import public recipes, not your own that you enter. Given the limited import functionality, it would be nice to have some kind of web interface at least that you could enter the recipes into and have it sync with this. |

[2013-03-06] A Google User: It works... The app is pretty straight forward. A couple big disappointments though are it's lack of ability to import from the food network and for some reason the sync is incredibly slow |

[2013-01-08] A Google User: Great App for the Kitchen - Version 2.1.2 Great android app and excellent user support! I recently got a 7 inch tablet to use in my kitchen and had some problems getting it to sync. Turns out I had manually added some recipe files in the folder on Dropbox that were not compatible. The developer was very helpful and soon had me going again. This app works well and is easy to use. The only thing I'd like to see would be larger pictures of the recipe... or a way to perhaps enlarge it a bit. |
