My CookBook lets you create your own digital cookbook. This is the only recipe app that allows you to build your own recipe database. You build this database gathering recipes on the web and using the import features.

You are looking for a new recipe ? Use our searching engine to find a new recipe on the web. When you have found one you like, import it into My CookBook. Then you will be able to view it everywhere on your phone or your tablet. You can add your own photo, change ingredients or directions, or add you own comments
You already have a cookbook ? Add a new recipe into My CookBook manually, or import your digital cookbook using one of the file formats we support like Meal Master (.mmf), MasterCook (.mxp), LivingCookBook (.fdx) , ReKconv (.rk)...
You want to share a recipe with your friends ? Publish on Facebook you are cooking a recipe. Or share it with My CookBook to email, sms, and others. You can also send them a “My CookBook” file they will be able to load into their app
My CookBook also include these features :
* Synchronize your recipes on different devices using dropbox
* Create shopping lists using your recipe ingredients
* Scale the ingredients to serve more or less servings
* Use the speech feature to read recipes
* Customize various parts of the app such as theme, font size, categories.

[2013-06-08] A Google User: Fab! I love this app because I cook, and I want to know that I will always have my recipes close by. It makes it even easier when I use BBC Good Food (my favourite recipes website) so I can sync my favourite recipes. Busy cooks, get this! |

[2013-05-22] A Google User: Would give less then 1 star if I could! Have had this application before and loved it! Downloaded it again only to be disappointed! :-( Very sad. Glitches all the time, while searching for recipes it kicks me back to my home page randomly. Won't let me import recipes-just back to the homepage! Will give a better rating if/when these glitches are fixed! |

[2013-05-20] A Google User: Geat app but Facebook sharing doesn't seem to work I love this app. I like being able to take my own pictures and add them to the recipe. I have tried using the sharing option for Facebook but it just doesn't load the recipes onto my page. Do I need to buy the Premium version for this to work? |

[2013-05-11] A Google User: Does not see or import Master Cook files Does not recognize MasterCook files and will not allow you to search installed SD card or LAN. No settings features. Opens in portrait mode even if you are viewing your tab in landscape mode. I suppose if you want to start your cook book all over from scratch, it will work. Not interested in doing that much work. |

[2013-04-28] A Google User: great app. but........... i have almost 2000 recipes in this app. it's fast and easy to use but to erase a recipe you have to do it one recipe at a time. they need a way to erase multiple recipes or entire cookbooks with one click. if you reformat your recipe collection the only way to get it into my cookbook is to uninstall the app., re-install it and then re-import all of your recipes. also, they have to find a way to import master cook 5.0 files, not just 4.0. that's the reason i gave this a 4 star and not a 5. |

[2013-04-27] A Google User: Okay for now Like this app for the most part but wish it had other options to sync with other devices. Will stick with the free version until I can see something besides Dropbox as a sync option. Also concerned about the complaints that ads were not removed from the paid version as well as people saying they couldn't transfer their recipes from the free to the paid version. Agree with other reviewer that an interface to out of milk would be an excellent addition |
