Mr Malty Yeast Calculator (v. 1.3) Разработано Vireo |
Mr. Malty Pitching Rate Calculator is an official port of Jamil
Zainasheff's online calculator which helps homebrewers calculate an
optimal amount of yeast to add to wort when making homebrew beer.
The application lets you specify if you are brewing an ale or a lager,
what your original gravity will be. Then based on the the source of
your yeast, will help you decide how much yeast to pitch, and how big
of a yeast starter to make, when appropriate.

[2013-02-03] A Google User: Doesn't match Website When I enter the info on the website for a particular beer, I get 1017 billion cells, on the app, the same inputs give me 288. The website is accurate, close to beersmith numbers. App is WAY off. |

[2012-10-09] A Google User: Easy to Use, Needs DME calc adde This is a great app and find it extremely helpful and easy to use when making a yeast starter. I always find myself looking up how much DME to add to the starter. I know there is a simple rule: 1 gram DME to every 10 ml of water, but it would be nice to have this calculation included in the app. |

[2012-09-18] A Google User: Basic but great Does exactly what it says on the tin. Invaluable tool for brewers. I've already got my $5 value by reusing a single Wyeast pack. Only improvement would be some in-app explanation around the variables (E.g. how do I work out my non yeast content? or is 15% good enough?) |

[2012-09-01] A Google User: The original More features than any other calc, tried and true. |

[2012-03-25] A Google User: Love it For as much as i have used Jamil 's website, the least i could do is support him. The app is great, miniature version of the web site. I love it! |

[2011-02-20] A Google User: Essential! Wondering how viable that yeast is? How big of a starter is required so you know how much DME to buy? This is the app you need to ferment at the next level. |
