Memoires gives a way to quickly enter life moments, thought, memories or notes, capture photos, audio or insert images from gallery. Memoires automatically detects and attaches to a memo the location, addresses, weather and moon phases. It also accepts text and images from other apps.
To keep records and images confidential, Memoires uses password protection and strong encryption.

- Unlimited amount of photos captured or images attached (Storage space is limited by the size of SD card)

[2012-08-16] Michelle: Really cool diary-writing app I'm really liking this app - it's easy to use and I like its design. The ability to add your location and emoticons is cool, as is the ability to write follow-up posts and make them 'flow'. Also the text editor isn't basic - in other words, you can change the font, make it bold/italic etc which is great for me when I want to add emphasis other than WRITING IN CAPS! The only suggestion/request I would ask for is the ability to upload your posts to the cloud - either Google Drive, Dropbox etc...unless I'm missing something? :) |

[2012-08-16] John: We're good now! I have revised my review of this app. I was having a bad day when I initially reviewed it. Besides, I really wanted for this app to live up to all the positive reviews I had read. So, I reinstalled it and checked out some of the settings. Man, you can have app convert the Celsius temp to Fahrenheit. You can choose not to show the lunar phases. Personally, I cannot think of a good reason to display them. Who cares what phase the moon is in? I did some other tweaking with the settings. We're good now. |

[2012-08-15] Kai: Good, Could Be Better Strictly speaking, as a journaling application, it works well, very well. However, I do find the Google integration somewhat annoying. Full synchronization with Google Docs, where every diary entry gets it's own "doc", (with the time and date as the title - without all the added links in the document), in a "Memoirs/Diary/Journal" folder would be much better than the current solution of simply creating one huge document containing all entries. Then if you edit an entry in Google Docs or in the application, both copied would automatically update, (give the option of sync on wifi only of wifi/mobile internet so that it doesn't hammer mobile data allowances, but does sync automatically when connected once again to a wifi network). Features I would willingly pay for. |
