TEPCO Power Usage Monitor is a program that displays the power consumption in TEPCO's service area, temperature changes and notices from Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO/東京電力).

[ There are 4 display modes, which you can use at the same time ]

* Large Size Widget

Displays latest power consumption, power usage rate (bar graph) and maximum available power.

* Small Size Widget

Displays power usage rate (5 colored lamps) and maximum available power. Is the size of the smallest application icon and will not take up space in the launcher screen.

* Detailed Graphs

Displays temperature changes, changes in yesterday's and today's power consumption, and maximum available power at peak time,in graphs. Also displays latest tweets from TEPCO.

* Status Bar

The program constantly displays the power usage rate in the status bar.

[ Other Features ]

* Notificaton on heavy usage

Issues notification denoting electricity usage rate exceeding a given amount.

* Bilingual display

Can display in either Japanese or English.  When the language setting of the Android phone is Japanese, the program will appear in Japanese. For all other languages, this will be in English.

[ How to use the program ]

* Displaying Widgets

Press long on the launcher screen --> tap "Widgets" --> tap either "Power Usage Monitor (small)" or "Power Usage Monitor (large)".

* Displaying Detailed Graphs

Detailed graphs can be displayed with either of the following.

- Tap "TEPCO Usage" in the launcher application screen.

- Tap the large or small Power Usage Monitor widget.

- Drag down the status bar and tap the notification from TEPCO Power Usage Monitor".

* Displaying Status Bar

Tap the menu button when the detailed graph screen is displayed.  Check the "Display use status" in the settings screen.

* Notifying heavy usage

Tap the menu button when the detailed graph screen is displayed.  Check the "Notification on heavy usage" in the settings screen, and change "Warning Threshold" when required.

As this program uses data published by TEPCO, errors in the original data will be displayed as is in this program. If TEPCO's data format changes without previous notice, there may be a possibility that this program will not update data or show incorrect data.

Chore-R-Timer is a general purpose round robin timer. In the chosen use, for  time slicing chores, it allows the setting of a period of time to be spent on each chore (including any rest or between time)before moving on to the next. The list cycles around endlessly until stopped by the user. It is intended to ensure each chore(task) task gets a measure of time spent on it.

However it can also be useful for helping children take turns at some activity, or perhaps for timing time spent at stations in gym.

This is my first app and as such it has relatively few use cases.

The main Screen is very simple it only has two parts, a button bar with 3 buttons(go next stop), and a scrollable  list of chores(tasks). Each chore has a timer in hh:mm and rest timer also in hh:mm a description , and a use count.

“Go” button starts the timer, “Stop” stops it and sets the first chore at the start of the list back as  current chore. When timer is running the “Go” button changes into Pause/cont toggle, which will suspend the timer where it is as indicated by the display flashing.

“Next” button switches to the next chore in the list of to the top of the list if at the bottom. This action can be performed form stopped or running state.

When stopped, the diamond shaped button when touched, becomes a drag handle allowing for reordering the list by dragging the current chore(task) Up or down, or if swiped to the right will delete the chore(task) from the list.

Clicking on a chore will bring up an update dialog, allowing description, Time duration, and rest period duration to be altered. The chore can also be deleted here too.

Chore lists can be named and saved in the Chore List Store within the app. This stores the named chore list on the phone/tablet where it can be retrieved for later use.

There is also an options menu containing 6 options, which preform functions of adding additional chores, accessing settings, accessing help,  accessing reset/new options , Save As (to Chore List Store) and manage (Chore List Store).

The reset options are used to either reset the use counters on the active chore list or to create a new unnamed chore list.  

The following settings are supported:
1)Changing the ringtone or notification tone used when the timer for a chore completes. 2) setting the defaults for timer and rest timer in the add dialog. 3) setting an optional sleep time - helpful in reducing battery use as there is no point displaying a second by second counter when you are hard at work on your chores.  This sleep time will sleep the app until  the next timer is due.
