The ConnectedLife.dx application is for participants of the GfK ConnectedLife.dx panel only.
[Update 01.10.2012] Gfk are not currently recruiting for this study in the UK and the US. We will keep you updated via the app store should recruitment re commence. Thank you for your support.
The application records your activities on your smartphone for research purposes. It will observe and record the internet pages you visit. It will also tell us about the apps you use, and the length of time you are doing certain things.
We will NOT collect any personal information such as passwords, usernames, secure information or conversations!

[2012-09-17] Tia: Un installed I had to remove this app because it was killing my battery. It constantly has to be open even if your not on the internet. So its constantly being used. Finally figured out that it was this app that was killing my battery overnight. Would not recommend this to anyone who worries about battery life. |

[2012-09-12] Scott: Battery drain Drained battery nearly 25% in just a few hours. Uninstalled after seeing this. Absolutely not worth a few dollars randomly for the chance phone will be dead when needed. No reason to send so much information that power drains so fast. |
