Con-Fessions: Truths Myths And Stereotypes About Men And Women And Relationship
The meaning of the word, “CONFESSION”:
1.) An act of confessing (as in the sacrament of penance)
2.) An acknowledgement of guilt.
3.) A formal statement of religious beliefs.
4). A religious body having a common creed
In this book the word Confession is broken into two parts spelled, “CON-FESSION.” It is written like this to help the readers have a better understanding of where I’m coming from with the definition of relationships between men and women. The prefix, “con” means trickery or fooling some one about something or purposely being deceitful. In relationships many people have felt as if they were tricked or fooled about one thing or another when it came to some or all of their relationships throughout their lives. I know I have been a few times. The suffix, “fession” pertains to someone fessing up to something either right or wrong. Many people in relationships cannot fess up to things especially wrong doing which causes many relationships to become troubled or dissolved. For many people it’s hard to come clean when you know you are wrong. In this book I touch on many aspects of relationships between both heterosexuals, as well as homosexuals. I did this dealing withbecause I want to have no biases towards any group and to gain a better understanding about different groups and lifestyles as well as their relationships. One section that I did leave out was the religious section. This was because I did not want to offend anyone or target any religious group or figures. There are thousands of truths, myths and stereotypes out there about relationships which we here about daily. I took the time out to try and channel in on as many people that have or are in current relationships. I came across some very interesting findings and beliefs that people have talked to me about while doing research for this book. This book is not made to slander or act as law when it comes to relationships. This book is solely to point out some interesting facts as well as myths when relationships.
