Is not accurate for matching existing paint colors First of all, ignore all the reviews that say "only shows black. " All you have to do is touch the image to see the colors. The trouble with this app is that you can't calibrate for lighting. It is not accurate in matching paint colors because each different lighting scenario returns different results. None of which match the paint chips. Also, it is picking colors based on each pixel instead of the overall effect. Might be good for super low res images but I can't even set my camera that low.

Sucks is the best description just so horrible, took a scan of a light brown wall Match can up with black. Then a greenish wall matched gray!

Poor reviews are based on user error All the comments saying all it ever says is black is because it says that till you touch the area of the photo where the color you want to match is. Until that is done, it default to black, which is more than likely by design.

It does work but Thousands of different colored pixels are picked up in just a solid color paint. Taking a picture and holding it next to a color sample in a store would be less irritating

Instructions Here!!!!! Take your photo then take your finger, press the section of the pic that you want to match then see the results. If you don't press your pic it stays on black. Some seriously slow people here

Good for decor. Bad for paint matching This is useful if you want to see what will look good with current decor. But since you're at the mercy of the picture or camera it can't match colors

After you take a picture you have to touch the color in the picture you are trying to match. Works great for what it is intended for.

The app needs a way to search by name. Navigation is difficult. It's sometimes easier to exit and restart. I'll uninstall and wait for improvements.

It's an ok program. It aggravates me that I can't use the back button from the explore tab after choosing a color or search for color by name.
