ASLAlpha is an App that will help you learn the ASL (American Sign Language) finger spelling alphabet. In Learning Mode, it shows an ASL sign and the corresponding alphabetic character. You can step forward or backward through the alphabet or select Random to display the next character chosen at random.
The two Quiz modes let you choose to see either the Sign or the Character chosen at random with a "?" displayed for the other. Tap the "?" to reveal the hidden item.
Instructions:
ASLAlpha opens in the Learning Mode.
Press the Next ">" or Previous "<" buttons to navigate forward or backwards through the alphabet.
Press the Random button to step through the alphabet randomly upon pressing the Next button. The Previous button is disabled in Random mode.
Press the Android Menu key and tap the Settings button to choose between the Learning mode, Quiz mode 1, and Quiz mode 2. Both quiz modes disable the Previous button and turn on random mode.
