Recipe app fans: It would be great if we could change the number of servings a recipe makes.
Allrecipes.com: Done. Now, scale recipes to the perfect number of servings for your specific needs.
Recipe app fans: We’d like to be able to search using specific ingredients.
Allrecipes.com: You got it! Include or exclude up to eight ingredients to narrow your recipe search.

[2011-10-25] Christopher: Good app Like the app. Just wish they'd add the capability to edit items after they've been added to the shopping list. |
[2011-10-23] Dawn: Best recipe app ever! Not only is it the best recipe app, it's also the best recipe site on the net. I've been using the site for years. Great to have it on the go now! |
[2011-10-22] d213rr: Good but has a major flaw Good app but force closes when you try to load more than one page of user reviews. |
[2011-10-21] Rosa: I love this purchase....it syncs with the recipes i save online! |
[2011-10-19] Kevin: wth Just purchased the pro version and it is incompatible with my galaxy tab?????? But the free version works |
[2011-10-13] PacoBell: Ingredient search broken. It is your biggest differentiator. How could you screw it up... and for so long?! |
[2011-10-07] Brookie: Changed to 5*. Been using pro for several months n never been disappointed! |
[2011-10-04] Fozz: Fix the shopping list The shopping list is broken, if fixed it would easily be a 5 star app |
[2011-10-02] Bea: Ingredient Search is Poor I can enter ingedients, but can't search for them. :-( That's why I paid for the Pro version. |
[2011-09-26] Heather: Great I love this app! |
[2011-09-25] Paul: Spin crashes every time. Galaxy S2 |
[2011-09-25] Pete: Force closes on thunderbolt This app was good at first, but now it force closes constantly on my Thunderbolt. Wish I could get money refunded. |
[2011-09-23] Amy: Would love if you could cross something off your shopping list and it would actually stay crossed off. |
[2011-09-17] the 9/21/2011 Good enough Nice to have my recipes on my phone. It's slow to load. Not a lot of updates. Spinner idea is interesting but less practical than I thought. |
[2011-09-11] Tracy: Love it, except once I add a recipe to my shoping list, I cant remove it. Makes shopping for needed ingredients very difficult. Did email 2 weeks ago |
[2011-09-04] Paul: no tablet version? i have a galaxy tablet 10.1 and feel recipes work best with a tablet. Why no love for the tablet? |
[2011-08-29] Mary: Love it! I love the spinner pro but since the last update can't see any reviews. It says to click the orange arrow by the recipe title but it's not working! |
[2011-08-28] Nicolas: Cannot create recipes on the go Please add this feature with the ability to take snapshots using your phone camera. You'll get many more recipes as you can stay mobile all the way whilst cooking and writing your recipe as you do it! |
[2011-08-19] Ben: New Android Market has fewer bugs. It's helpful if you state what phone you have and what ver. Droid X on 2.3 not switching to site without force closing. |
[2011-08-18] Jeremy: Good, but needs fixing Most parts of this are good, but the grocery lists are frustrating - plz fix items un-crossing themselves when the app loses focus. |
[2011-08-16] carlin: Shipping list useless I only bought this for the shopping list which is prefect if it kept checked off items after I locked my phone! Please fix! |
[2011-08-08] djardb: Great app Exactly what I needed with access to my recipe box. |
[2011-08-07] paulsroka: Locks up entire mobile every time on first spin. Freezes everything and have to take battery out and replace it to get the phone working again. |
[2011-08-04] Karen: What a wonderful convenience! Spinner works well for most things and immediate access tho my recipe box and shopping list is great. |
[2011-08-02] Antonius: The app looks fantastic and seems easy to use but it keeps crashing whenever i spin categories. Fix please! Galaxy SII. |
[2011-07-30] E Stephen: Please fix the shopping cart bugs! 1) crossed off items uncross themselves2) force close when trying to remove recipe from shopping list. Thanks! |
[2011-07-29] Kernel: Once u cross something off your shopping list it become uncrossed if u leave that screen. Force closes when I click to view on website |
[2011-07-26] Ixora: Great app, I use it almost daily. Btw to access the search feature just use your search button. Paid version has way more recipes then free one. |
[2011-07-24] Marjorie: Great application! Easy to use. Gives many options when you search. Well worth the fee. |
[2011-07-22] melissa: Nice app and useful if you already use the site and have a recipe box or shopping lists. Spinner portion not very useful for dessert or beverages. |
[2011-07-13] Brenna: This app is amazing! Contrary to other comments, the pro version's search function is easy to find and use. My only concern is photo loading time |
[2011-07-11] Samuel: Useful for people who heavily use Allrecipes First and foremost, I don't care for the actual Dinner Spinner part of the app. It's interesting to say the least to see what it comes up with, but I don't see myself ever using that to plan meals. What I do use the app for is to access my recipe box and shopping lists. The functionality is there, but is flaky at best. I have to manually reload the shopping list screen/individual lists if there is anything new added, and the shopping list function has been throwing a lot of errors as of late. |
[2011-07-07] Colleen: I can't download it! |
[2011-07-04] Michelle: Works great on my EVO! Search works too, so not sure what other reviews are talking about. |
[2011-07-04] George: Good enough to use but crashes alot. |
[2011-07-01] Jasmine: PLEASE add an option on the spinner for "healthy", "low fat", etc. |
[2011-07-01] Crystal: The free one is better. At least you can search recipes!! Add a search option!! |
[2011-06-30] theabsurd: Filtering by ingredients is essential for me, but should be improved. So far need an exact match for ingredient name, unablebto leave searchbox empty |
[2011-06-29] Sandra: always willing to try new dishes and this app has been EXTREMELY useful ...works great ...mytouch4g C = |
[2011-06-29] Angie, Angel, Mar-Mar: It's kind of fun but it's not practical at all. At the very least there should at least be a search function that isn't random. |
[2011-06-27] the 6/29/2011 Force close when I try to view the recipe on the website. LG Ally Froyo. Otherwise I like it. |
[2011-06-26] ringdoc: force closes when I use my recipe box I really want to use this app. I send feedback hopefully they will get tired of me and fix this app I dont want my money back, I want the app to work! |
[2011-06-25] renata: Pretty cool - so convenient! Aside from the interface not being terrifically intuitive, this app has great possibilites. I like that I can save recipes and add them to a grocery list, and also the search function gives you many more choices than the spinner, such as more than one ingredient can be specified, and special dietary restrictions can be applied to the search. (Zelbinian, see the screenshots for the search page, which allows you to do this.) Looking forward to shopping from and cooking with my Optimus T wiz of a gadget. |
[2011-06-25] kc: Really Great App. I appreciate being able to create (multiple) shopping lists online. It took a bit to discover the checkbox and delete feature. |
[2011-06-23] Ryan: I'm impressed and that doesn't happen easily. $3 well spent. |
[2011-06-23] lumihiutale: A few bugs, but an excellent app nonetheless. |
[2011-06-22] Zelbinian: You forgot about me Thanks for completely forgetting about people with special diets. There's nothing I love better than staring at a screen full of things I can't eat. |
[2011-06-22] Cody: Need to be able to save the shopping list as I check things off. I mark them then my screen turns off & back on its reset. Otherwise great. |
[2011-06-22] ShelleyS: Force closes when I try to open my previously saved weblink recipes from my recipe box. Droid2 |
[2011-06-22] Julie: Working OK On Asus Eee Pad Transformer Either I did not notice the fact that the Pro version is incompatible with the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, or the notice only recently appeared. Anyway, I downloaded it to my Eee Pad and it seems to be working fine. Odd thing is that the Free version is theoretically compatible with The Eee Pad. Why would the free version be compatible and not the Pro (paid) version?? |
[2011-06-21] Abby: I have been waiting forever for allrecipes to make app. Totally worth the $3 |
[2011-06-21] BigRedRPB: So far so good on my Dell Streak. |
[2011-06-21] Esther: Finally! Love it! It works beautifuly on my EVO. One suggestion... I'd love to write reviews and upload pictures from my phone. |
[2011-06-21] Erica: Alas, did not work on my Droid Pro -- force close every time I tried to access my Recipe Box. Fortunately I had my 15 mins to get a refund. |
[2011-06-21] Cahow: Bloody Brilliant!!! Allrecipes is my FAVOURITE cooking website and 90% of my most used recipes are from there. I downloaded the PRO version because I have 200+ Private recipes in my Recipe Box and the PRO version allowed me total access to them, which the FREE version does not. Put onto my Samsung Galaxy Tablet, which has now become my complete digital cookbook!! Recipes both public & private show up perfectly; photos are brilliantly displayed, and the recipe display is easy to read; not cluttered at all! Highly Recommend! |
[2011-06-21] Kathie: Force close to view recipe on line. I'm past my 15 minutes. |
[2011-06-21] Texasann: So fast it works great on droid x. Love that it accesses my allrecipes recipe box. It is fast. Made a grocery list from a chicken recipe. Love. |
[2011-06-18] euphgirl: Force closes when I try to read reviews. :-( |
[2011-06-18] Damian: Need a lot of work. Shopping list is a joke. Check something off, screen goes to sleep, item is back on your list... You have to go into "delete" mode, which is a complete pain to deal with. Again check something off, scroll a bit and its no longer checked. Hit delete and you have to wait while it syncs with the server. Stupid way to sync an app- every time you hit a button. "Dinner Spinner" is dumb too. It does not take into account dietary needs or desires, just like the website search, or ingredients for that matter.. |
[2011-06-12] Stacy: More stars if it wouldn't keep force closing on me when reading additional reviews, recipe on the website. HTC Thunderbolt. |
[2011-06-09] charity: It's awesome to have the GREATEST recipe site, at your fingertips!! |
[2011-05-31] Craig: Working great on my HTC EVO It does everything I want! I can search for recipes, view my own recipe box, create my shopping list and send recipes straight to my shopping list. |
[2011-05-28] Linsey: Love the shopping list feature. |
[2011-05-26] Chrina: Yay, thank you Allrecipes! This app is great, and I've been waiting for this for a long time! |
[2011-05-26] Sarah: Force close every time I try to add a recipe to my recipe box. Mytouch4g |
[2011-05-12] Jimbo: Appreciate all the recent improvements! No problems on mytouch4g |
[2011-05-10] Marcus, Artie: Works great on my Evo no force closes yet. I love that I can make a grocery list based off the meals I pick. Can even adjust the portion size. |
[2011-05-09] Heidikins: Does not work on HTC Aria. Force closes every time I try to access my recipe box. I want my money back. |
[2011-05-07] kevnord: Love having my recipe box available on the go! Handy little app for taking my recipe box and shopping list wherever I go. Works great on my nexus one. |
[2011-05-07] Stephanie: Great app - what a convenient way to access my online recipe box. Works great on my Droid X |
