Benjamin Franklin kept a diary for most of his adult life, marking off where he failed to live up to the 13 virtues by which he decided to live.
This app allows you to emulate Benjamin Fraklin's diary, and improve you adherence to his virtues.
Every occurance where you fail to live up to a virtue, you add a black mark. As an extension to Benjamin Franklin's original method, this app also allows you to add a "+" mark to indicate a time when you followed a virtue particularly well.
Your adherence to the virtues are then charted in order to track your improvement over time.
As a final bonus, a Benjamin Franklin quote-of-the-day, chosen randomly each day from nearly 200 quotes, is shown on start up.
No ads or other cost -- this app was for me to learn the Android ropes and I'm sharing the result. Hopefully it's useful to you.
13 Virtues is now open source, and more features are in (slow) development.

[2012-04-24] Dallas: Great app! The app is very simple and that's what makes it powerful. It's a great help easy to use. As far as turning the pages....you just can't heavy handed with it. And you can remove marks put there by accident. 5 stars. |
