Zeo Sleep Manager (v. 1.1.10) Разработано Zeo |
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST HAVE A ZEO SLEEP MANAGER MOBILE HEADBAND TO USE THIS APP (available at www.myZeo.com, Best Buy, and other select retail locations).
Zeo is a comprehensive system to help you improve your sleep.
Zeo tracks how much REM and Deep sleep you get each night, and helps you discover personalized ways to get a better night's sleep.
HOW IT WORKS
=============
The lightweight Zeo SoftWave headband tracks your actual sleep stages throughout the night and sends them wirelessly to your Android device. The Zeo Sleep Manager app lets you view your sleep data so that you can see how you really slept. You can see:
- Total time asleep
- Time in REM sleep
- Time in Deep sleep
- Time in Wake
Your sleep quality is then summarized in a single number, called ZQ - a simple, unique way to both measure and understand your sleep. Track your ZQ over time and compare to other people your age.
SMARTWAKE ALARM
================
The Zeo Sleep Manager app also has a built-in SmartWake alarm that gently wakes you at the optimal point in your sleep cycle. Never wake up late, always wake refreshed.

[2013-01-23] A Google User: Smart alarm doesn't work. Can't fill in morning feel and exporting data is a hassle. Needs to be brought up to par with the bedside display and iOS version. |
[2013-01-18] A Google User: Stability is bad. Looses connection with the headband most evenings on the Nexus 4. |
[2013-01-18] A Google User: Love Zeo but smartwake doesn't work The concept is amazing and I love tracking the quality of my sleep, but the smartwake functionality is one of the main reasons I got the device, and it simply doesn't work on my phone. I have an S3, which is the second most popular phone on earth, so this shouldn't be an issue. I can't wait to update my review to 5 stars when they fix this :) |
[2013-01-16] A Google User: Great system once they get it working on new firmware I have hypersomnia and have tried other systems, haven't found anything better short of a clinical sleep study. This app makes managing my condition easier since I have hard numbers on quality and quantity of sleep, that I share with my sleep doctor. It worked great until android 4.2.1 but now is almost unusual. I got the same auto response when I emailed support as the other folks, but when I pressed them they assured me they were aware of and working on the problem. If that happens, 5 stars! |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: BEWARE! Company is not up to date with phones! Recently I wrote Zeo to see why my Smartwake wasn't working with my Samsung Galaxy S3. Got this in one response. "Zeo Sleep Manager has been developed for smart devices running Android 2.1 or higher. While Zeo Mobile should work with most Android devices, the following list has been specifically tested for compatibility. We will continue to test Zeo Mobile with new devices and will keep our website updated. Devices already tested: HTC Incredible HTC Incredible 2 HTC Nexus One HTC Sensation Motorola Droid Motorola Droid 2 Motorola DROID X Samsung Nexus S Samsung Galaxy S Samsung Galaxy S2 Sprint Epic 4g" Then when I wrote back they said this about my S3, "I understand you are running 4.1.1. As per the list I sent you, your phone has not been tested and is not yet supported." It is misleading to not state this in PLAY store and allow consumers to pay $99 for this thing then surprise, we dont' support it and are not testing the latest phones...yet? S3 came out May 2012? I don't believe my S3 is why the Smartwake isn't working, so no support no help. At least it records data. Clean up the PLAY store and make them state what this is compatible with! |
[2013-01-10] A Google User: Does not work on nexus 4 I like my Zeo but just got a Nexus 4 and the app stopped working. From browsing the net it seems I'm not alone on this... |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: SmartWake doesn't work correctly. The reason I purchased this device was for the SmartWake feature, which is supposed to wake the user up within a window (40 minutes in my case) at the most opportune time. I've been using it for nearly a month, and have yet to see SmartWake actually wake me up within the window -- the alarm only sounds at the end of the window. I've been in various sleep states within that 40 minute window, but Smart Wake always ignores it. I suspect that it's just broken. Zeo support has admitted a problem, but said that they can do nothing to fix it until a new version of the app is released which they said may be quite a long time. |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Limited features, why? The most useful, and perhaps most important is the diary, which is what helps you track your habits. This app only shows your sleeping pattern which on its own is useless. I don't see why there is no diary feature in this app. |
[2012-12-09] A Google User: Could be more 1. Add diary entry 2. Dim screen while tracking 3. Sleep Q score breakdown |
[2012-11-27] A Google User: Stopped working with 4.2 update Zero worked fine until I updated to 4.2. Now it crashes as soon as I open it. This makes the zeo headband worthless. |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: Smartwake? Please make this app do something really useful and introduce a REAL Smartwake feature that allows waking based on the other sleep states (e.g.start of REM). Then just allow the alarms to be mp3 recordings and you will have a killer app! |
[2012-11-11] A Google User: Works okay, but drains my battery! Seems to work okay for me. But the app doesn't stop running in the background. I can't get a full days use out of my phone now. Removing and this is going to ebay. My fiance gave up on it too because she couldn't get used to the headband at night. |
[2012-11-08] A Google User: Wrong dates and times Records randomly change themselves to one day before or after, and say I've slept at the wrong times, eg 10am to 6pm. Smart wake has never worked, just goes of at the last minute every morning. |
[2012-11-05] A Google User: Smart wake not working I love the zeo aland have been a dedicated promoter. However it seems with the last few updates the smart wake feature is no longer working which is very sad. I wish to give this app 5 stars but please fix the smart wake feature. Thank you. |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: Smart wake not working The main reason you want to use the Zeo (beside just monitoring) is the smart wake function. But, even after many different post in the forum, and in the comments, this is not fixed and some people still can not use the smart wake. (the alarm just ring every time at the last possible hour). Please correct this! A 100£ + 20£ every few months device and app should not have ANY bug! |
[2012-10-27] A Google User: Awesome. Works and has no problems but I can't delete any of the past records! If I can then it's hard to figure out how, please fix. |
[2012-10-19] A Google User: OK. Not bad. But a few glitches to be sorted out. |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: Works very well At first I had some difficulty syncing data and pairing my phone with the bluetooth headband every night but these issues resolved themselves after a few nights. I contacted technical support and they were very responsive, curteous, and willing to solve these issues. The website is adequate and is fairly easy to navigate although it is flash based so you can't use an iPad. I actually look forward to sleeping just so I can collect more data and improve my sleeping habits. The Zeo is definitely a good buy. |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: Sleep Nice tool to keep track of your sleep problem |
[2012-10-03] A Google User: Love it App had worked flawlessly for ayear yeast now |
[2012-10-02] A Google User: All sorts of issues Difficulty with pairing and keeping it paired, sleep data that doesn't show up; had an errant entry from 1919 that was sorted at the top of my list and couldn't be edited... all in all, lots of problems here. I'm a Zeo Home user (the physical product) and a Zeo Mobile user and find both pretty much indispensable, and this Android app, unfortunately, has been a big disappointment. Has potential to get things right; it needs to feel like a more stable, usable, flexible Android app. |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Force closes 100% of time since last update. The new UI is nice, but as soon as the BT connection is made the app crashes. The previous version did not have this problem. Samsung Galaxy Nexus. |
[2012-09-23] A Google User: Very good app. Please share a picture of the hypnogram when sharing your sleep data. |
[2012-09-13] A Google User: Good design The application works well however the sensor does not seem to pick up my wake phase. I try contacting support and they were very responsive but they still couldn't provide a solution as to why the application wasn't detecting all of the phases. |
[2012-09-06] A Google User: Works great. I love my Zeo. The ability to "see" how I slept last night is pretty awesome and leads to valuable insights. It works perfectly in the Galaxy S3. |
[2012-09-03] A Google User: Worked great until latest update.. ...now it just force closes. A pity, as I successfully collected stats for nearly a year. Hopefully the next update will work. |
[2012-09-02] A Google User: Awesome. Its amazing to be able to actually see your sleep data. I interface it with innkeeper so I can see how exercise affects zscore. |
[2012-08-25] A Google User: Room for improvement It's a decent app overall. Syncing is temperamental sometimes. It'd be nice if I could update the journal from the app rather than having to log in to the site daily. Smart alarm worked maybe once since I started using it a month ago |
[2012-08-20] A Google User: Needs better sync This app is pretty awesome. The data is synced with the Zeo website and you can do all kinds of data vizualization on the site. You can also download your data as a .csv and create your own variables (I'm interested in lagged sleep). 4 stars only because it doesn't always sync like it should and I have to sign out of my account then log back in. |
[2012-08-17] A Google User: Very interesting I've had some minor problems with the headband, but overall, this is SUPER COOL & provides interesting data. |
[2012-07-27] A Google User: Works Great. This device and app work the best out of any sleep tracking devices I've tried. I don't notice the headband when I sleep. Data collection and Bluetooth connection have been reliable unlike other devices I've tried. |
[2012-07-26] A Google User: Works great! This app works great! I'm running a gnex with jelly bean and everything works as it should. I don't understand all the negative reviews. |
[2012-07-21] A Google User: Droid Razr Works great! |
[2012-07-21] A Google User: Droid Razr Works great! |
[2012-07-21] A Google User: Trying Hopefully it will wake me up on time!!! |
[2012-07-21] A Google User: Worthless!!! I've had the app for 2 weeks it states its tracking, but then crashes and stops responding. Not once has it worked like it should. The item is going back and I'm deleting the app! |
[2012-07-20] A Google User: Disrupting to Galaxy Tab operating system I've tried several times to use this app, but each time no success. Tab freezes up just having this app installed. Uninstall app and my tab is back to normal. |
[2012-07-19] A Google User: Let me choose custom alarm Just got my sleep band today. Don't like that I can't select a playlist or music collection, unlike Gentle Alarm. |
[2012-07-17] A Google User: Wish the alarms would sort I really wish the alarms would sort by earliest active to latest active followed by earliest inactive to latest inactive... otherwise a decent app |
[2012-07-17] A Google User: Latest update unstable The update from last week has the app crashing repeatedly. |
[2012-07-17] A Google User: Works well on the Nexus 7 Haven't tried out the Alarm function with the Nexus 7 but everything else is working well so far. |
[2012-07-16] A Google User: Loved it until this week Last week this app would have gotten at least four stars, but this week it started crashing after every bluetooth connection. Now I have a pricey headband. I'm bummed. |
[2012-07-16] A Google User: Update has messed things up The July 13, 2012, update of the Android app has the app crashing repeatedly, making it nearly impossible to use the Zeo system. I hope they fix this with all due haste. |
[2012-07-15] A Google User: Most recent update is a mess. Force close left and right. Aside from that, the app should really provide means of entering sleep diary data from it. |
[2012-07-14] A Google User: Reliable, stylish First class app. Well done! |
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Smart wake doesn't work Smart wake doesn't work |
[2012-07-04] A Google User: Love I love my zeo |
[2012-06-26] A Google User: Fantastic device, great app I don't have a single thing to complain about. This thing had performed far better than I could have hoped. |
[2012-06-24] A Google User: Almost good, but needs update The software is barely functional and just does enough to make the headband work. The app is really letting the device down. Sometimes the graph is showing junk data. The tablet stays on all night and screen won't switch off. Can't update journal. Can't access coaching sessions. Sync to website doesn't always work. Maybe if the api had all the functions to communicate directly with headset some open source software could be developed? Its a real pity because this device could be fantastic with improved software. |
[2012-06-21] A Google User: Smart wake doesn't work |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: freezes and crashes on nexus s I can't use my brand new headset because the app freezes and requires a force quit when ever I try to use it. Sad... |
[2012-05-25] A Google User: Incredible app, works perfectly! Could you please, please, PLEASE add a Smartwake feature that plays an alarm during REM sleep? If you did, Zeo would be the ultimate lucid dreaming induction device!!! |
[2012-05-18] A Google User: Great app, works perfectly ...on my Google Nexus. Updates to website every time which is great. Bluetooth connectivity perfectly fine. Zeo website flash fine with standard android browser, but not mobile chrome yet. Also has to be one of the slickest and nice looking spots out there. Devs, keep up the great work! |
[2012-05-17] A Google User: Works well. |
[2012-04-16] A Google User: Works great. |
[2012-04-01] A Google User: Great I love this if only my doc would see this |
[2012-03-21] A Google User: Stop complaining please Great app, amazing technology. Too many people complain and give a low rating before checking their website to see a list of Android devices that they've tested against. They're working on testing many more, but give them credit. It's not easy to get an app like this to work on the hundreds of different Android devices. |
[2012-03-17] A Google User: Get it together! Worked okay until the last update and really did like it. Now I might as well wear a sweat band at night. |
[2012-03-11] A Google User: Great program, its a must buy. I got mine at Best Buy an take it on the road with me when I travel |
[2012-03-04] A Google User: Crashes Running latest version of app as of 3-3-12, viewing "diagnostics" under settings in app causes a force close App should have been tested more thoroughly before this release. |
[2012-03-02] A Google User: still needs lots of work journal updating should be a must for the next update. |
[2012-02-23] A Google User: Improving App quality has been increasing with updates. I'd love to be able to edit my sleep journal from here... |
[2012-02-20] A Google User: Nice tool Solid tool when used correctly . |
[2012-02-16] A Google User: Update is great All the issues I was having were resolved in the latest update. |
[2012-02-14] A Google User: Awesome on Galaxy II S Works perfectly for me. |
[2012-02-14] A Google User: Works fine for me. Fascinating info from the gadget. 5 stars for doing what it says - will make suggestions via web site. Archos 70 tablet, Froyo |
[2012-02-13] A Google User: A mess In the current state this app is a mess. I have a galaxy nexus running android 4 (ics). The app does not fit on the screen properly, the title bar is truncated and the option menu is cut off. Most times when I open the app it goes to a blank screen. Also the app and a service always runs taking up memory. Update: Changed the rating to one star because the app has not been updated in two months. At this point the company is clearly poorly managed and/or incompetent. |
[2012-02-11] A Google User: Crashes on Samsung Ace Works smooth and no crashes on HTC Desire. But frequently closes itself during the night on Samsung Ace. |
[2012-02-07] A Google User: Great when it actually works Great concept, but it crashes my phone 1-2 times a day so bad that even the power button won't turn it off (need to pull out the battery). Had to uninstall to get my phone working normal again. Pretty much a waste without working software. |
[2012-02-07] A Google User: Please fix Please fix the bugs. This app has great potential but is a pain to use with the constant crashes in ics. Very disappointed considering the cost of the device. |
[2012-02-03] A Google User: works perfectly for me using an at&t samsung galaxy s 2, the app connects seamlessly every night. after a month of use I've only lost one night due to sync issues that have disappeared. I'm very satisfied. would like to see an alarm that is linked to desired ZQ. |
[2012-02-03] A Google User: Disappointment. I started to bang on about what's broken and what should be fixed but srsly, it hasn't been updated since last year and I doubt it will again. Really great idea by sleep scientists, but implementation by amateur developers. Open the source guys and you might have a product, or hire some developers that have shipped popular products before. |
[2012-01-20] A Google User: Fail ICS Galaxy Nexus App doesn't work in landscape, then stops working on portrait afterwards. |
[2012-01-14] A Google User: Too much memory!!! App always resident and consuming RAM even when not in use or connected to monitor. Forced to remove to prevent problems with phone. Monitor is useless without App and phone is too low on RAM with App installed (but not active) to work reliably. PLEASE FIX! |
[2012-01-13] A Google User: Huge but basic application Application is basic, functional and huge... over 10mb. By far the largest android app I have downloaded ever and with the Samsung Intercept (only 200mb RAM) this has proved to be a significant problem (slow downs, hangs, crashes). I may need to uninstall the app or buy a new phone but will try to root and clear some pre-installed non-google apps first. |
[2012-01-12] A Google User: Has most of the basic features I like this app for the most part, I wish it had more choices of sounds and I REALLY wish it had a much much larger snooze/dismiss button as I wear glasses and can't always tell which button to press. Otherwise it's worked fine. I also wish it had open APIs so we could access brainwave data directly |
[2012-01-10] A Google User: Many bugs now It worked for me for about a month while have some small bugs that may appear in 10% (no alarm, time changed). But after I update to version 1.1.1 and update the headband firmware, I have to reboot the headband several times every night to make it connect smoothly, while the SmartAwake alarm did not work any more. I've mailed the customer service many times, but the replies did not solve this problem at all. Please try to fix all these strange bugs, Zeo is only good for use once all these bugs are solved! |
[2012-01-05] A Google User: Good except for alarm The main reason I bought this was for the smart wake alarm, which doesn't work. It's just been waking me up at my latest entered time every morning even if I've been in light sleep for an hour before. |
[2011-12-29] A Google User: GSM ICS Doesn't fit perfectly on screen, you get a black screen when first starting the app. Simply go home and go back to the app. Black screen when it rotates as well. No connectivity problems to the hardware. |
[2011-12-16] A Google User: Lacks Journaling The updated app and firmware has much better connection stability. Lately I haven't been sleeping well. So I used the Zeo to view data from last month, when I was sleeping well to see what the difference was. I noticed last month i was getting better quality sleep. I wish this app had some type of Journaling or note taking so I can remember things I did or ate on those days I got a high zeo score. For now i'm going to use a notepad with paper by the bedside or a good notes app on the phone. |
[2011-12-09] A Google User: Can now share sleep data... Thanks for listening to the suggestions. I can text email facebook etc. my nightly slee data. |
[2011-12-07] A Google User: Unstable, losing conection Zeo Worked great for 6 days. Then startloosing bluetooth connection every evening. App. worked when starting sleep but lost conection somehow during n |
[2011-11-14] A Google User: Works great Nice app.. even nicer is being ablevto see my sleep patterns |
[2011-11-10] A Google User: Good initial release Needs ability to update journal from the app. No crash problems as of yet. usually have to enable / disable bluetooth each night to connect headband |
[2011-11-10] A Google User: Is this a joke? Complete fail on xoom. Rarely connects. App crashes. The menu is truncated. Not a reliable alarm clock for these reasons. I guess the headbands works tho. |
[2011-11-07] A Google User: Good start; disappointed that my $350 bedside investment is compatible I'd like to see an update include a popup scroll button/bar for zq history. It's irritating swiping back to 2009 |
[2011-11-05] A Google User: Beware of bugs While this is indeed an amazing and useful device, the version 1.0.0 is really buggy on Android, with my Galaxy Tab constantly crashing, freezing up, using up a fully charged battery in a couple of hours, and making the tab practically unusable. I am considering uninstalling Zeo for the day, so that I could use the Tab, then installing it again before going to bed every day. |
[2011-11-04] A Google User: A Fantastic bit of kit I am a CPAP user and think the mobile Zeo is a magical tool to back up my sleep data. I know how I feel on a good or bad nights sleep, now I have a record of how those feelings came about.I know I am tired but this little useful gadget attached to my android phone gives me a visual record of my sleep pattern. First Zeo record without CPAP use was ZQ27, 2nd Zeo reading using CPAP ZQ41, both are not good records but the data from Zeo is brilliant. |
[2011-10-30] A Google User: Good for a first release Glad that they finally came out with an Android app. I can only review my sleep data. Hopefully, they will support entering Sleep Journal info soon. |
