The KP app gives Kaiser Permanente health plan members the tools to access their medical records, make appointments, refill prescriptions, view most lab test results, send nonurgent messages to their doctors, and more.
In addition, members and nonmembers alike can find any Kaiser Permanente medical facility easily using the power of the Android’s global mapping features.
If you belong to a Kaiser Permanente health plan and already have your user ID and password, use this app to sign on to secure features for members, including:
• My medical record: See your health history at your fingertips, including your allergies and immunizations, details about prescriptions and any ongoing health conditions, and most lab test results.
• Pharmacy center: Refill prescriptions for yourself or another member and check the status of a prescription order. See a list of all your medications.
• Appointment center: Schedule, view, and cancel appointments with your doctor’s office. See information about past visits.
• My message center: Email your doctor or another department with nonurgent questions, privately and securely.
• Locations: Find Kaiser Permanente medical facilities near you or in the city or ZIP code you choose. Narrow your search to include only those facilities offering the services you need, and get directions and phone numbers on the spot.

[2013-08-23] A Google User: It works for me I am able to check my messages and test results without having to fire up my computer. As for messages lost due to the 10 minute timer their website had that problem a few years ago but they eventually did make it work better. Hopefully they will find a fix for their KP app. EDIT: I get a black screen after closing the app and trying to reopen it. So I do have to go to Settings|Apps and click on Force Stop before trying to reopen it. Buggy, yes but it is faster than going to my computer and logging on to kp.org. EDIT#2 When composing an email to your doctor the screen does not scroll down so you are limited to 4 lines of text which are visible (at least with my tablet.) This is because there is so much crap filling up the top of the screen. I did not notice that problem earlier because I had been replying to emails from my doctors on a screen which was much less cluttered. I dropped rating to 2 stars. |

[2013-08-13] A Google User: Works smoothly I use a galaxy tab 3. The app worked perfect for emailing my doctor. Remember it will time you out if you take too long, just like the site when you aren't using the app. The reason I didnt put 5 stars is because it only works in portrait instead of both ways. Also, the keyboard blocked the message box, so I couldnt see what I was typing :/ |

[2013-08-11] A Google User: Ok, but a small issue. It works as designed, but every fee hours, I get a pop up even not using it that says "KP stopped working." Odd, since it's not in use...? |
