Honest Label (v. 2.0) Разработано Honest Label Foods |
The Honest Label app provides clear, color-coded information on any product in the grocery store. Personalize the app to help you avoid unwanted ingredients. Scan any barcode in the grocery store with your iPhone, and our interactive label will reflect your individual needs.
In addition:
-Customize your label to what you always look for.
-Say goodbye to black and white. We provide colorful charts and graphs.
-Know if certain ingredients are present with our red/green background.
Notes:
We currently have over 250,000 UPC codes with nutrition information, and our database is growing daily. We plan to have data on close to 100% of the products in your grocery store by the end of the year. If we don't have what you're looking for, bear with us; this is just the beginning of our food revolution.

[2011-11-26] Professor: Didn't recognize any of my products Scanner worked well enough to recognize a upc label. However, scanned products were not found. I'm in Canada. Does that make a difference? |
[2011-11-02] Denise: What happened to warning details? The recent update fixed the freezing problems which is nice. Now there are np details for the warnings which is bad. I want to know why its "bad." |

[2011-10-22] don: This allows easy gluten free shopping. Fantastic. |
[2011-07-25] Ian: Crashes all time on wildfire |
[2011-07-24] karen: FC every time on camera open. HTC Sense. |
[2011-07-24] Marek: Won't work at all. Won't scan at all: "Sorry, the Android camera encountered a problem. You may need to restart the device." The same after restart, and of course the camera is working fine, and so are other barcode scanners. |

[2011-07-14] travis: Not ready for game time.... The first 4 items that I scanned can be found at most grocery stores, unfortunately only 1 of the 4 showed in any info. The remaining items requested user input. Requesting me the user to take a picture of nutritional, ingredient, and product labels. I'm sorry, but i assumed that honest label foods had access to bar code/nutritional databases to give individuals a better understanding of what they're eating. Unfortunately, it seems that the company will be relying on user input of product info D+ |

[2011-07-05] Sander: Why does this app need access to contact data (incl. modify) and browser history plus bookmarks? Uninstall! Not so honest it seems. |
[2011-05-24] Jonathan: This application has great potential I look forward to seeing how this application and others like it revolutionize the health/nutrition information the public has about the food they eat. If only they could find a way to implement the same sort of system for foods that we eat at fast food establishments. I'm sure fewer people would eat food there if they knew exactly what was in that taco or big mac. |
[2011-05-22] raena: I love it! Easy to see What I'm eating, and it translates ingredients into things I understand! |
[2011-05-21] Sean: @Sharon understand this app is still in it's infancy, although the dev's need input and feedback, I don't think giving them a low rating helps... |
[2011-05-14] Sharon: Should upgrade to include warnings for allergens, corn derivatives, soy etc, not just the MSG type stuff. |
[2011-05-13] @appliedscience: Works great, wish the light when scanning was able to be turned off. |
[2011-05-12] Bill: Worked fine on my galaxy s 4g android phone. |
[2011-05-11] Teri: This is the coolest! |
[2011-05-10] tyler: It crashes |
