Garmin Fit™ (v. 1.7) Разработано Garmin |
Turn your Android phone into a powerful training tool with the Garmin Fit™ app. See your current walking, running or cycling stats at a glance or review them later thanks to automatic uploading to Garmin Connect. It even allows you to select the perfect soundtrack for your workout.
For a small monthly or yearly subscription, you also gain access to the LiveTrack feature, which allows you to send invitations to others via email, Facebook or Twitter*. They’ll receive a link to a website where they can view the position of your mobile device on a map (when configured for outdoor use in the Activity setup menu). Your time elapsed, distance, speed, elevation and more will also be viewable in real time. It’s a handy way for loved ones to track your races or keep an eye on you during your outdoor training.
Garmin Fit provides:
- Current speed
- Distance traveled
- Route traveled
- Calories burned
If your phone is ANT+ enabled, you also can see data from your Garmin fitness sensors. Easily monitor how hard you’re working with a heart rate monitor, train indoors with a foot pod or receive valuable cycling data with a speed/cadence sensor.

[2013-01-22] A Google User: Same problem as others... Installed latest version - immediately lost workout history. Tried logging out and back in again. Now the fit app won't allow me to log back in. :( |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Limited features Compared to Endomondo, Runkeeper and other similer apps, GFit seems to be light on features (bluetooth HRM, etc.) Updates forthcoming? |
[2013-01-12] A Google User: Great Start ! Very nice application when running out of batteries or missing my Garmin devices. For the rest, great job for this first Garmin application for GPS smartphones. |
[2013-01-06] A Google User: OK App I have a Garmin Edge 305 that just died so I downloaded this to try it out. I am disappointed with it overall. The app does not detect auto stop and start as the Edge units do. This skews your results on bicycle rides if you have to stop for lights. No heartrate monitor support also is a drawback. I want to know exactly what I am doing and how may calories I am burning during my rides. If you want something to use if you are a recreational rider or runner this should work fine, but I am sticking with a dedicated product. |
[2012-12-31] A Google User: Great app This is the best app I have found for accessing your Garmin Connect account. Not only does this app allow you to record your workout with GPS (and music) and then upload it to Garmin Connect, but you can also view your workout history and manually add a workout. With this app your phone can become the ultimate Garmin device. |
[2012-12-30] A Google User: Disappointed Really quite disappointed and annoyed with the quality of this Garmin product. Normally I'm a big fan but this was such a cheap creation I was forced elsewhere after purchase. |
[2012-12-12] A Google User: Wish it had topo and accurate maps Good app for sharing your work at the dinner table pity that you can't star the good workout sessions. |
[2012-12-09] A Google User: Almost complete Would like to see it record your weather while you are using the app, and a few more options on the display, but I am real happy with it, and the Info on Garmin Connect. I needed a new option after Endomondo removed features from their Pro app, and wanted to charge you to get the features back. |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: It's a start I have a Garmin Fenix. It has Bluetooth. Why, unless you can synch the watch to something like... I dunno. Maybe an Android device running a Garmin Connect client of some kind? C'mon Garmin, get the lead out! |
[2012-12-05] A Google User: Great app Links perfectly with ant+ hrm and footpad |
[2012-11-29] A Google User: Decent app It needs to be updated to include ant+ as there is no hrm support or anything for the garmin sensors. Apart from upload to garmin connect there is no difference between this and any other gps workout app. Garmin need to sort this out. |
[2012-11-29] A Google User: Almost epic Pretty good and accurate for a free app. Sometimes it doesn't sync and find a signal to track me on a run, but that's par for the course with all Garmin products. You get used to it. |
[2012-11-27] A Google User: Xperia active. Perfect! Great app on a great phone. Easy to use, quickly uploads data to Garmin connect. Looking forward to future releases/enhancements. Thanks folks at Garmin! |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Don't buy it Awful app, used it for the first time today and a ride that is 19miles appears to be 7 according to the Garmin app. Unfortunately because the distance is so wrong the rest of the stats are ruined. Don't waste your money |
[2012-11-10] A Google User: Fascinating in prospect Unfortunately with a Motorola Razr HD Maxx the screen cannot be read for daytime outdoor exercise. I started the app indoors and clicked the end indoors when I returned, but that's not precise or convenient. I liked the way it tracked and measure my route, but that's several days ago, and I haven't found it worth the fuss to carry it with me since. It also claims to count calories, but I don't see anything in it that accounts for altitude change. So I don't see any way that it could get an accurate calorie count. |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: No ant+ In it's description, it said it is going to work with your ant+ Garmin HRM and footpod. But it doesn't even have settings to detect them. What a sham! I have my samsung galaxy s2 connected to a garmin ant+ usb 2.0 stick via OTG cable. Also had ant+ radio service, ant+ usb service, and ant+ demo installed. Ant+ demo easily detects the hrm and footpod. So there is no reason why garmin fit shouldn't detect them. I hope they redeem themselves by releasing an upadate to address this issue real soon! |
[2012-10-28] A Google User: Great app, awesome price The battery was dead on my Garmin 405 and I didn't have my charger, so I quickly bought this app so I could track my run. I love that it syncs with Garmin Connect and keep all my workouts together. Good views, good stats. Works great on my RAZR Maxx. |
[2012-10-26] A Google User: Needs mucho work Only used this today and didn't rate too well with me. I need to be able to edit my workouts on the phone and not have to go to the computer. |
[2012-10-21] A Google User: Muito bom Para as 5 estrelas só se o histórico incluir a natação comi na web |
[2012-10-20] A Google User: no edit feature I thought for sure it would be able to edit workouts in history, at least the title, but it doesn't. So not useful and 1 star. |
[2012-10-12] A Google User: Awesome and simple Great app if you want to see your garmin info on a tablet. I've been using the online site to track my workouts. This lets you see all your data - cadence, distance - in a very simple format. |
[2012-10-07] A Google User: No Forerunner support With many new phones coming with either Ant+ built in or USB host support (so that you can attatch a Ant+ USB stick) it seems a massive oversight that you can't sync your Garmin GPS watch with Connect using Fit. Being able to sync your watch via your phone would be really useful when traveling. Ant Technologies have already released Ant+ radio and USB 2.0 drivers for Android and they do work with Garmin's Ant+ USB stick (confirmed using the Ant+ demo app), so the hold up isn't at their end. |
[2012-10-07] A Google User: ANT+ USB-otg Please enable ANT+ for USB otg. |
[2012-09-24] A Google User: Good but lacking in some essentials Garmin Connect integration is very nice: uploads automagically to the service and also downloads any activities from your account that have been tracked with other devices. However, routes or tracks cannot be displayed during activity. The map view only shows where you've been during the ongoing activity. This is very frustrating since you do have all your previous tracks viewable on a map in the Activity History (which is not accessible when recording). I can't imagine it being too difficult to allow you to display these tracks also during an activity. (minus one star) I've also discovered that some long tracks become overly simplified. I have a 25 km track with 3474 track points (good detail) and then a 120 km track with only 248 track points (very jagged). My guess is that when the amount of recorded data exceeds some threshold, the app simplifies it to reduce the amount of track points. There are no settings for track recording. (minus one star) Sometimes recording has failed because of sporadic phone reboot. The track is saved and uploaded successfully up to that point. I don't know whether the problem is in this app or the phone software or hardware. |
[2012-09-15] A Google User: No HRM!!! I expected far more to get from Garmin ((( |
[2012-09-08] A Google User: Poor Did 20 miles on my bike and it registered 30 METRES! Waste of time and money. |
[2012-08-30] A Google User: Super Great tools |
[2012-08-27] A Google User: Poor. Got home and my phone had switched itself off and on. The strava app did that too. Back to miCoach I'm afraid. |
[2012-08-25] A Google User: Couldn't handle my data Program crashed every time it tried to bring up my uploaded activities list. I have over 200 bike rides uploaded, and the app fails every time I start it up. |
[2012-08-24] A Google User: Great for a buck Get the data you need for distance and time. Relatively accurate to keep you on pace. Would like total time included with lap time on history. Smooth out accuracy. Short spikes of time to distance throws off charts. |
[2012-08-18] A Google User: Great app. |
[2012-08-18] A Google User: More options Customizable data diplays would be nice along with average moving speeds, so as breaks are deducted from average speed calculations |
[2012-08-15] A Google User: Perfect mobile companion to Garmin Connect As always with Garmin, a well executed product. The live tracking and integrated music are nice additions. |
[2012-08-14] A Google User: It works for me I've been using it to log my workouts from my Garmin 610 and it works a treat, saying that I still wouldn't minde a few extra features on the app i.e. edit workouts. But all and all good app. |
[2012-08-13] A Google User: What a con Bought this app to go with my HRM but no sign of it on the app. Also they wany you to sign to even more money ???. |
[2012-08-08] A Google User: Crashes very often / can contact data :( I don't know why such a app must read my contact data or retrieve running apps :/ While loading 'Activity History' from garmin connect the app crashes after a few seconds (on Jelly Bean) :( |
[2012-08-06] A Google User: Live Tracking Live tracking stopped working asking me to pay again. No response from Developer very poor |
[2012-07-30] A Google User: Rubbish Really lacking in features compared to free apps of the same nature |
[2012-07-27] A Google User: Galaxy Nexus What about showing the Power chart? |
[2012-07-20] A Google User: LOVE IT!! |
[2012-07-18] A Google User: Ok, but needs work Decent stat tracking and features, poor location tracking and the app never closes unless you force stop it which is very annoying. |
[2012-07-18] A Google User: Foreunner Stopwatches might be more accurate There's no auto-pause feature and sometimes I have top speeds of 0:42/km. Right....Despite this, it finds my GPS location quickly and seems to be accurate in most other ways. |
[2012-07-18] A Google User: Excellent on HTC One X Works great. I have accuracy problems with Tracks. |
[2012-07-18] A Google User: Useful I'd love to have audible notifications of miles/ pace. Also some audible feedback on button presses would be nice- I don't always see the screen. |
[2012-07-16] A Google User: Disappointed The GPS tracking and speed features aren't nearly as accurate as I would expect for a garmin product. This program doesn't work any better than the free versions out there. Also mine will no longer synch with with garmin dashboard. |
[2012-07-15] A Google User: Dont waste ur money I expeceted wayyyyy more from garmin! Check out map,my ride it is wayyyyyyy better and its free. |
[2012-07-14] A Google User: Don't waste your money GPS takes forever to get a lock when all other apps are instant. Does not properly track mileage. Off by at least a third of the distance traveled every time. |
[2012-07-13] A Google User: Works well since upgrade to ICS! Update: My Droid Razr Maxx was recently updated to Ice Cream Sandwich and all of the GPS issues seem to be resolved. I have also gotten into the habit of not clicking the Start button until the GPS position has been found and everything seems to work well now. Great app! I would have given this 5 stars but the calories burned value always seems to be more than double the actual calories burned. For example, an hour long ride at 10-15 mph results in over 800 calories burned! This seems somewhat excessive for a short ride like this. Original: I have a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx and the GPS feature of the Garmin Fit app stops working (which causes the rest of the features to stop working as well). The only feature that works reliably is the timer. The GPS map seems to stop updating about 0.5 - 1.0 miles into a bike ride for no apparent reason. I live out in the country with open sky view so it should not have any issues finding the GPS satellites. I would give this app a 5 star rating if the GPS feature (and the rest of the features) worked reliably. |
[2012-07-12] A Google User: Sony Ericsson xperia arc Works great, only problem is customer service, I contacted them for advice on using the footpod but got no response. I now use it without the gps to get a more consistent pace from the footpod. And run another app for gps. |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: Pay to share?? Why would I have to pay to live subscribe just for me to share my workouts? Please this feature should be free. |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: Elegant! Awesome! I rarely rate apps but I loved this one. I don't use it to measure distance or heart rate, I do it with my watch, but I love how it shows you your history, the charts and laps. Just wish there was a way to share it since the share option (and the page) sucks on Garmin Connect. |
[2012-07-04] A Google User: No pairing yet with accessories for Android version? Love the app! But Android version 1.5 does not yet support accessories like my newly purchased Garmin Premium heart rate monitor chest strap. Come on guys! Enable that stuff. It's summer already... |
[2012-07-02] A Google User: Not Accurate I compared to my Garmin running watch. The app was off by 2 miles. The app also has some annoying limitations, e.g., it won't let you edit workout titles in history. |
[2012-06-25] A Google User: Excellent Good app, I use only for history analysis from my edge. Would be 5 stars if it had information on goals. |
[2012-06-18] A Google User: Works, but it has some strange quirks Used this App for the London to Brighton bike ride yesterday, all worked well, except the link to my HRM stopped working towards the end of the ride. Worse problem I have is the app losing the Activity History, having completed my ride yesterday, saving the results and reviewing them yesterday, I started the phone this morning with the aim to use a ScreenCapture to save the Lap times and Graphs from the ride, only to find that the Activity History no longer has any routes saved. |
[2012-06-12] A Google User: Heart rate belt no supported Low star for it not support heart rate belt. If upgrade this feature will be rated 5 stars. |
[2012-05-21] A Google User: Works good but no Bluetooth HRM support The App works well, easy to use, but unfortunately it still does not support Bluetooth HRM e.g. Polar Wearlink Bluetooth Transmitter. Please add this function then most users can use it since not many phone support Ant+. After the upgrade to 1.5 the GPS is now very accurate, and loads much faster, and the history of the activities is now much better. Well done. |
[2012-05-21] A Google User: Works, but accuracy issues. App works well, and great to be able to see all info afterward. But accuracy issues so far I have had a top speed of 283mph and a normal route I commute varies between 8.17 - 4.39 miles in distance! Even on a 63 mile sportive when I borrow a 800 edge and had this app running on phone recorded 9 miles less than the 800 did. That's disappointing. |
[2012-05-18] A Google User: Disappointed I have owned garmin forerunners and never had any problems with them...but this app... Well most of the time can't seem to find satellite and the one time it did it was so far off. Big disappointment! |
[2012-05-17] A Google User: Does nothing This costs and does nothing but use your GPS to track workout. There are much better free apps that do much more. |
[2012-05-16] A Google User: It is good. |
[2012-05-12] A Google User: Great app. Auto pause missing Great app. Auto pause missing |
[2012-05-10] A Google User: No GPS Nice looking app, but is not picking up GPS even though the map app can. Also re-downloads history every time you log out and back in, would be good of you select a period of time, eg 1 week or 1 month etc |
[2012-05-09] A Google User: Okay The app works great. I love the music feature but why does it run in the background? I only need it to run when I am. |
[2012-05-09] A Google User: not working after recent update, it never aquires GPS signal. |
[2012-05-08] A Google User: good, not great |
[2012-05-08] A Google User: Thank you! Thanks for fixing the history suns! Phew! |
[2012-05-08] A Google User: Best of the bunch By far the best of the fit apps in terms of gathering stats u can use in other programs. Have dropped the number of stars as I think it would be v useful to choose what displays in the cells on each screen. I use hrm and speed and cadence but cant get all to display on same screen in garmin fit |
[2012-05-08] A Google User: Works great Better than other apps I and my friends have used. So far latest update works fine after fixed sync and login issues |
[2012-05-08] A Google User: Niiiice....only wished it counted steps Love the app and love that it seamless uploads your walk to garmin connect. You log into the site and bang!..there is your walk with all the details and map. Just really, really wished (hint hint Garmin) that it counted steps. That is about the only thing lacking. For this reason four stars. |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: Permissions?? Was a great app, but no way I'm updating to allow access to my contacts! What in the world is that for? |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: Latest update wiped my history The new livetrack update cleared my history and will not refresh |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: latest update also wiped my history. that last update wiped my history and it wont refresh now. Also after logging out and then trying to log back in it wont login using any of my garmin user credentials. |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: Garmin fail again... Don't download this update as it will wipe your data. Garmin have a history of releasing updates without proper testing. Looks like they've done it again. |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: Lost history When updating. Log on to website says account not found. |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: Awesome |
[2012-05-06] A Google User: Good app but.. I like the interface and connection to Garmin connect. However it doesn't track GPS correctly on my Nexus S. MyTracks(Google app) has a tracking adjustment in the settings that I wish Garmin Fit had. MyTracks is open source, shouldn't be hard to borrow from. :-) |
[2012-05-01] A Google User: Ok Doesnt upload all the time. Once that happens, the data is only on ur phone. |
[2012-04-30] A Google User: Problematic measuring It works really well, and good to sync data with Garmin connect, but for whatever reason it doesn't measure distance properly. It measures kilometers as miles and there doesn't seem to be a,way to correct this |
[2012-04-21] A Google User: Great Would love it to have more of the features such as the bike computer info on my real garmin, but for not having to carry a phone, ipod and gps, its fantastic. |
[2012-04-13] A Google User: Good App Seems to occasionally take a long time to lock onto GPS, but overall the app is easy to use and handy for walking. |
[2012-04-13] A Google User: Awesome App! Best fitness App I have tried only a couple, so I can't tell you for sure that this is the Best App. But it is definately the BEST APP I have used. tried some free ones... old saying... you get what you pay for. and for $1, you'll get more. Thanks. |
[2012-04-09] A Google User: application shut down the phone After 1 hour in use, the application shut down the phone. Device in use: Sony Ericsson x10 mini pro |
[2012-04-07] A Google User: Great Use every day |
[2012-04-06] A Google User: Other mapping/ gps services need to be off The app works fine for me. It tracks my running just like my old Garmin wrist watch. I did discover that if you have Google maps running in the background it will never find the satellites needed to track your distance. Turn those off and this app syncs up within seconds. |
[2012-04-05] A Google User: A 4x1 widget would be cool (similar to Google's My Tracks). |
[2012-04-02] A Google User: Could do better I guess I had higher expectations having used Garmin's own devices. 1. The map does not give a satellite view, only Google maps so is not much use when mountain biking off the beaten path. 2. Not able to configure the information fields. I have no cadence sensor but it still shows cadence and average cadence in cycling mode. 3. No courses or competing against best times. Oh well you get what you pay for I suppose. |
[2012-03-29] A Google User: Excellent I've used Endomondo for a few years and bought this as I have a Garmin HRM'S so thought I'd try it. Interface is a bit basic but it offers some decent flexibility and battery drain very low which is excellent. |
[2012-03-24] A Google User: I love it One of the best app for get fit using Android!!!! :-) |
[2012-03-24] A Google User: Good Good, but i need more setings in mobilefone |
[2012-03-20] A Google User: No edit feature This is a nice app for looking at saved data, however it would be nice if you could edit workouts. |
[2012-03-16] A Google User: GPS not Working The app looks nice, but can't track distances or route cause some gps issue. My GPS is working, but app can't "use it". |
[2012-03-13] A Google User: Can't find satellites The concept of this app is good since i don't wear my Forerunner everywhere... but the app will not register with the satellites. I know it is not my phone, as both RunKeeper and mapmyrun both function fine. Disappointed. |
[2012-03-12] A Google User: HTC Wildfire This would be a great app if it worked properly. It seems to map the routes correctly but the calculated distances are less than half of the actual distance covered therefore speed and calories used etc are therefore calculated incorrectly. |
[2012-03-11] A Google User: Excellent app Easy to navigate, relevant data to analyze, works great with Verizon Incredible. |
[2012-03-11] A Google User: Awesome Syncs perfectly with Garmin Connect. Very well laid out. |
[2012-03-10] A Google User: Over priced by $0.99 Battery hog - It couldn't record a 65 mile ride on a fully charged battery (Samsung Stratosphere)- fails to accurately plot course - Garmin Connect doesn't allow correcting map data recorded. If the map shows wrong streets or app fails to complete the ride it cannot be edited in Garmin Connect. Over estimates calories (powertap 2100 and app estimated 3800) The free Mapmyride isn't much better but allows correcting the ride map and its free. I wouldn't have given it such a high rating, one star, but its the lowest rating in order to submit a review. I was going to purchase the Edge 500 but after using this app and Garmin Connect I will put off that purchase. |
[2012-03-04] A Google User: Works well with Garmin Speed/Cadence and HRM I've used a Garmin Edge 305 with HRM and Speed/Cadence sensors for years. This works well with both sensors and my Xperia phone. Uses Ant+ to connect so your phone needs to be compatible. Recorded data is uploaded to the Garmin Connect website, from where it can be exported into Training Software. Would be nice to see it support courses and workouts and to integrate the calendar on the Connect website, but it does the job and I can see it replacing the Edge on my road bike. |
[2012-02-24] A Google User: Nice work Garmin Really nice for when you don't have your Garmin GPS device with you or you just dont have one at all. Good tracking and saved to Garmin Connect without issues. Well worth the $0.99 -LG Optimus V / Android 2.2 |
[2012-02-23] A Google User: Underpriced I have owned a Forerunner for years and loved it, but I never used many of the higher level functions. This app gets me down to just one device per run, automates the upload to the web, and gets me all of the info I need. Love it. Would have paid $30 for it. |
