DAFNE Online Android (v. 1.2.282) Разработано Keith Clarke |
DAFNE Online (www.dafneonline.co.uk) is a support network for people with Type 1 Diabetes who have attended the Dose Adjustment For Normal Eating course - providing news, forums, carbohydrate lists and an online blood glucose diary. The DAFNE Online Android app provides a Blood Glucose Diary and a Carbohydrate Portion (CP) List for your phone. The diary entries can be synchronized with your DAFNE Online account as they are entered or when you choose and the carbohydrate portion data is built into the app. So no Internet connection is required to use the app and you can avoid mobile network data charges if you wish. You can also choose to use the app without a DAFNE Online account at all.
Blood Glucose Diary features:
- Record Blood Glucose, Carbohydrate and Insulin intake - no Internet connection required
- Specify your own Blood Glucose targets for different time of day
- Diary results are colour coded to show whether you are below, on or above target
- Automatically or manually synchronize your results with your DAFNE Online account
- View a summary of your results, showing averages, total daily dose (TDD) and more
- Input your current insulin ratios and the app will auto-calculate dosage for you (but note that there is currently no automatic calculation of corrections)
Carbohydrate Portion List features:
- View and search the Official DAFNE Carbs List natively on your phone - no Internet connection required
- List by food group or alphabetically
- Identify your favourite food items so you can find them quickly
- Search for foods both within the app and using the global Quick Search Box (once you have added the app to your "Searchable Items" list) including by voice input (if your phone supports that)
Setting options include:
- Automatic or manual diary entry upload
- Automatic calculation or manual input of QA
- Theme choice of Default, Light (background) or Black (background)
[2012-05-25] Shauna: Thought it would be better I haven't done a DAFNE course but I do count carbs. I thought that this could be beneficial for me, especially when I saw I could change the CP list to Australia... But then I started looking through the lists... Bread... 100g = 1 slice? In the real world 2 slices 66g and is actually 2 carb serves... Great app if lists were accurate, and if u could change the values |

[2012-04-13] Kieron: Brilliant - some suggestions to make iteven better Firstly I would like to say thank you for this App - it has made a huge difference to my diabetes management! here are some suggestions -To have the option of having the Entries screen as the default launch screen -To be able to add an entry from the Entries screen - perferably with one click, but even 2 clicks would be an improvement on the 3 clicks that are currently necessary. -To go to the Entries screen once an entry has been made. -To have the view inverted so that the most recent entry is on the top of the screen - this would make looking from one day to the next a lot easier and would also fall in line with most computer / phone applications way of viewing - most recent on top - maybe an option to have this might be better as those using it already may not want to change. Thanks! |

[2012-04-01] Glenn: Brilliant Even if you haven't completed the DAFNE course like me, this will still be the best app for keeping track of your blood sugars and carb intake. Once you get the hang of it and work out your carb to insulin ratio you will instantly have control. The forums are great and the feedback is always swift. Thank you Daf. Life changer |

[2011-09-14] John: The way to go for DAFNE on the go I've been Beta testing this app on my HTC Desire for a couple of weeks now. I was using it in conjunction with another app but since dropped using that because this does all that I want. If you've done the DAFNE course, this app has the features you need to keep track of your BGs, CPs, QA & BI doses. It will even interact with the UK DAFNE website (login credentials available to DAFNE graduates). It is a port of the iPhone app, so still has some annoying legacy UI issues, but a great app none the less. |
