[2013-01-17] A Google User: Crashes on Galaxy S3 For a company that is so dedicated and generally reputable customer service, I am quite disappointed in the stability of this app.. It works great on iPhone, so why not focus in on the programming for the Android? The awful UI and the unavailability of tabs compared to the iPhone is quite awful. Luckily for me, I have iTouch.. But what are the sole-Android users to do? This app constantly crashes.. It is a guarantee when I re-open Lexi-Comp. Definitely not worth the hefty subscription fee.. |
[2013-01-07] A Google User: Still crashing even after updates 11/3/2012 Do not buy this app. Lexicomp cannot make it work on galaxy s3. App crashes and locks phone for about 10 sec. Worthless when you need answers now. |
[2013-01-02] A Google User: Crashes Lexi interact keeps crashing. Needs fixing. The drug database seems to be working. |
[2012-12-07] A Google User: Developers gave up on Android Crashes regularly. Five clicks to get to the drug database? Lexicomp is a great resource but they are definitely losing money due to the poorly executed android app. Even sadder is the fact that user feedback and even direct feedback by phone is essentially being ignored. |
[2012-12-07] A Google User: Love the app but... Today there was an update that allows you to compare the drugs, but it causes the app to crash every single time. It sounds like a nice addition, but its execution needs a little work. Fortunately, my patients won't suffer because I have other apps that allow comparison without crashing! |
[2012-12-04] A Google User: Best Medical App I rely heavily in this resource. Excellent UI and frequent updates....excellent |
[2012-11-29] A Google User: Freezes Freezes every time it is reopened on my Samsung galaxy 3s.. |
[2012-11-19] A Google User: Freezez half the time!! Freezez my galaxy s3 about half the time. Great data base when it works though. |
[2012-10-20] A Google User: The best drug reference app in my opinion. |
[2012-10-18] A Google User: Keeps crashing Keeps crashing and all calculator s dont work samsung galaxy tab 10" |
[2012-10-10] A Google User: Exellent |
[2012-09-30] A Google User: Still looking for some improvements... Great app, BUT...jump list font is way too large! Makes it hard to scroll through and search quickly for those of us who wish to continue using the app as it was and not customize the monograph. I would also really like to see the option of having light font against a dark background - saves battery life! |
[2012-09-29] A Google User: 5 stars at last Love that (finally!) you can customize field order. I can now go directly to paediatric dosing. |
[2012-09-28] A Google User: Great app but not as good as palm pilot version Cheaper than ipharmacist. Good quick reference, but needs features that were available in pda version, like quick history, quick jump to customizable favorite sections. Also need bigger buttons, always end up choosing wrong drug with my big fingers and then have to search from scratch again |
[2012-09-27] A Google User: Amazing app! I love this app!!!! No flaws. Up to date! |
[2012-09-27] A Google User: Improved Pretty good app for offline access to meds. They've improved the ui a lot but I think it could still look better if they used the ics design guidelines. |
[2012-09-26] A Google User: The Best The best pharmacy app that a rounding student can have. UI could still use work, though. |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Please fix crashing problem. Crashes ALL THE TIME. It crashes the first time I open it.. every time. Crashes then opens then crashes then opens then crashes. It's insane for the price paid. |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Horrendous update... Ever since the last update, all I get are FC's as soon as I select anything past the initial menu. I am paying #### dollars a year for this??? Looks like this customer will NOT be renewing in October... |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Good info. Poor app. Excellent info for medical professionals. Not an app for the non medically trained. Since phone updated to 4.1 JB it force closes every time I attempt to open it. |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Broken after update Worked fine until last update. Now it will not open. Keeps saying app not responding. Please fix. Epic 4G Touch ICS |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: New update Crashes on openning on my s3 prev worked perfectly Works when u uninstall then reinstall |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: It's going down hill Updated for iPad? Really? New update breaks functionality |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Best med app til it broke Best app I have found for meds period.... Until... Updated today and now will not open. Freezes on white screen every time I open it. |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Horrible Will not work after update!!! |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Do NOT update Latest update has broken the app. Only white screen appears. |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Mine is broke too! Paid for access to several references. Update has ruined it. Help!?!? |
[2012-09-23] A Google User: Paid version? Will install again once I can purchase the app after 30 days. Won't let me purchase the app now that my trial is up... |
[2012-09-20] A Google User: Ugh Crashes each time I use it. Can't use jump-list feature, because it will freeze the app. I want my money back. |
[2012-09-19] A Google User: Force closes every time app is opened |
[2012-09-18] A Google User: Force closes |
[2012-09-16] A Google User: JaggersNP Love this app!! Very convenient and useful!! |
[2012-09-16] A Google User: Crashes Continues to crash every time program is opened. Nearly non functional. Running on galaxy sii |
[2012-09-09] A Google User: Force closes on multiple phones. Give me a break. Terrible ui for fast searches. Hire someone competent. This isn't a cheap product. Totally unacceptable. |
[2012-09-03] A Google User: Awesome app but forces closes all the time. I had this app with my iPhone. Used daily and worked great. Switched back to Droid. This app sucks on Droid. I basically can't use it at all. Force closes after pressing 2 buttons. Please fix! I loved this app. |
[2012-09-02] A Google User: Force close "Unfortunately, Lexi comp has stopped" should be the title of your app. No other app even comes close to how bad this problem is... and those apps are all free. This just proves micromedex is better. Droid RAZR MAXX running 4.0. CrApp |
[2012-08-30] A Google User: Force closes on Nexus 7 Great app overall but crashes a lot. |
[2012-08-24] A Google User: Slow navigation, crashes I couldn't justify renewing my subscription to use this app given how unstable the app is and how slow it is to navigate after the major update to the app about 4 or 5 months ago. Lexi took something good, ruined it, and lost my subscription as a result. |
[2012-08-18] A Google User: 1 fantastic aplication |
[2012-08-17] A Google User: Fantastic resource, horrible program This app is for serious medical professionals only, the price reflects that. It's indispensible for my work. I use it 3-8 times an hour, 10 hours daily, 5 days of the week and this app is just awful - literally crashes every other time one opens it. Too many clicks to go to a section, perhaps a "favorites" list on main screen might help. For such an expensive database, you expect more in terms of execution. I mean free farts games on the app store made by rank amateurs are better than Lexicomp's usability. |
[2012-08-17] A Google User: Constant force closes Amazing drug reference, but suffers tremendous amounts of force close. This problem doesn't seem to just be isolated to Android because I also experience it on iOS. This is unacceptable for such a pricey app |
[2012-08-15] A Google User: Crash down It crashes too often than it works. |
[2012-08-12] A Google User: Crashing. |
[2012-08-10] A Google User: My go to handheld drug info |
[2012-08-09] A Google User: Crashes Crashes all the time. |
[2012-08-09] A Google User: Thank you Thank you for the quick update fix. Still force closes, but not as often...I can live with that for now. Past updates have only made performance worse. I will never update again haha |
[2012-08-07] A Google User: Nice App Cons: 1. Please remove the Zoom toolbar, add it in settings, or make a punch to zoom function (small screens) |
[2012-08-07] A Google User: Loy The best. But i 4got the product code |
[2012-08-01] A Google User: Terrible For a service this expensive, I can't believe how horrible this is. Every single time I open it, it crashes. I can sometimes make it to the drug I need after the initial crash, but a second crash is inevitable. UNACCEPTABLE! |
[2012-07-31] A Google User: lots of info, hard to find anything It could use a search feature and auto updating..until then I will continue to use medscape. That being said when I do find what I am looking for it has lots of good info.. |
[2012-07-29] A Google User: Support Needs to support jelly bean |
[2012-07-22] A Google User: Takes longer to display info Since update slow to bring drug monograph. |
[2012-07-18] A Google User: Galaxy tab 10.1 i No functions work, force close everything |
[2012-07-15] A Google User: Force closes No longer compatible with jelly bean. |
[2012-07-09] A Google User: Cant open Can't open. Forse closing :-( |
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Can't install on sd card or storage |
[2012-07-03] A Google User: Bad I can't login to my account |
[2012-07-01] A Google User: Great idea Superb medical education application for students |
[2012-07-01] A Google User: Jellybean non compatibility! Not compatible with Jellybean! |
[2012-06-25] A Google User: Great resource Keeps crashing and stutters on my HTC one S (worked great on vibrant though). Would be nice to have initial vanco dosing calculator or BEE calculator |
[2012-06-16] A Google User: Best Keeps you up to date & able to answer patients & nurses questions easily |
[2012-06-10] A Google User: won't run After update, it keeps crashing. |
[2012-06-06] A Google User: Freq Force Closed Since update force closes frequently. Unable to access during Emergent Situations which is unacceptable. This is not a cheap app/program |
[2012-06-05] A Google User: Galaxy s2 why i can't install it in my samsung galaxy S2??? |
[2012-05-30] A Google User: Allow theme selection Not digging the new update. Too many clicks to get to the drug database. Please allow users to choose between themes. Frequent crashes now. Want to downgrade. |
[2012-05-24] A Google User: Click, click, click, cli...... Agree with other reviewers: too many clicks. Great database, but a Terrible UI. Please streamline. Please. |
[2012-05-17] A Google User: Lexicomp |
[2012-05-17] A Google User: Finally! Great update on Nexus One. I can finally rotate the screen without automatically returning to the top of the page |
[2012-05-15] A Google User: 2.0.1 Crashes 50% of the time. |
[2012-05-13] A Google User: Rip-off This is a rip-off! The software is listed as FREE. In fact, there is only a free TRIAL version, after which you have to pay. By this definition, most software in the world is free. You should be ashamed of yourself with this blatant false advertising. It's not misleading, it's a blatant LIE. Absolutely disgusting. If your dishonesty is a measure of your professionalism, then your product certainly can't be trusted by anybody. |
[2012-05-12] A Google User: Finally compatible with VZW GNex 4.0.4 "Minor bug fixes"?? Really? It was working fine until this update appeared. I think "Minor bug creations" is more fitting. Cannot use app unless all data connections are disabled, which means you can't update the database files because a data connection is required. Glad I had an .apk of the last version saved. |
[2012-05-11] A Google User: I love you Lexicomp I do enjoy the new light colored theme, and as I am a student, I find myself using it constantly. It's an amazing resource to have on hand! After the update I found it is more prone to crashing. It's been frustrating having to restart the program multiple times in a row before accessing information, so please fix. It now requires returning to the main menu whenever looking up a new drug which is annoying, return this to the old style. If it weren't for these it would get a 5 start rating. |
[2012-05-11] A Google User: Bad update New update causes constant force closes! This needs to be fixed asap! |
[2012-05-11] A Google User: New update new update is lots of forced close screens |
[2012-05-09] A Google User: great girl great:-) |
[2012-05-09] A Google User: Great 5 star |
[2012-05-08] A Google User: Don't update Crashes constantly since update. And now I have to wade through 3 extra screens to look up renal dosing b/c lexi forces you to open on the main screen each time you open the program. Very dissatisfied. |
[2012-05-04] A Google User: Love the new update New update is excellent. The ability to Jump to the section of interest in a drug monograph is back. That was the feature I missed most on the previous app. Also nice that the search bar in the Drug screen is no longer invisible. |
[2012-05-02] A Google User: RN Good resource |
[2012-05-02] A Google User: Finally! A lighter menu theme! Now giving 5 stars! |
[2012-04-28] A Google User: Worked well on free download, but when free period run out I was unable to download full version to HTC. |
[2012-04-28] A Google User: Now working ! Was not able to install from SD card on my Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus. Lexicomp provided a link to a .apk that worked. |
[2012-04-14] A Google User: Lexi comp Super great reference. It is a fantastic addition that complements epocrates for notes, diagnoses and treatment plans. |
[2012-04-02] A Google User: Cant download for samsung gslaxy s2 Is there anyone that experiencing the same problem as me.it say it was incompatible with my device.:(.But my phone is samsung galaxy s2 |
[2012-03-13] A Google User: Love it Dont need to carry pocket books |
[2012-02-21] A Google User: Good app Unless it is a system level app. No app should be phone only. Pls re-code. |
[2012-02-17] A Google User: Best app ever Lexi is the only thing you'll need |
[2012-02-13] A Google User: Pharmacist I use it very often as handy and complete reference. |
[2012-01-09] A Google User: Standard of Care Use it all the time. |
[2012-01-03] A Google User: The Best for Pharmacists This is a great reference for me. I use it often as a hospital pharmacist. The interface could be a little more touch friendly otherwise this is as good as it gets. |
[2011-12-12] A Google User: Amazing This app makes school so much easier |
[2011-12-09] A Google User: Navigation needs updating Navigation within a drug monograph needs to be easier. Instead of a fav drug, your should allow a fav section of a monograph. |
[2011-12-01] A Google User: Needs to be easier to navigate Collaspable sections and tabs like Crystal suggested are much needed |
[2011-11-25] A Google User: Needs tabs The drug monographs need tabs or collapsing sections to access info easier. It takes far too long to scroll through all of the info. |
[2011-10-28] A Google User: Lexi is the Best If you need accuracy, depth, and reliability - just use this product as a sole source. |
[2011-10-17] A Google User: Unreasonable expensive when cheaper/free options are available. Apps asks for extremely large downloads in order to work offline. This is a trial only, to have it you need to pay couple of good hundreds $$$ for. |
[2011-10-08] A Google User: Lexi-comp I love this drug reference! I'm a pharmacist, and I use this app every day!! |
[2011-09-14] A Google User: Epocrates and Medscape are Better and Free. I use them every day while this ain't worth it. |
[2011-09-10] A Google User: CNot bad Good to have for |
[2011-09-09] A Google User: Pharmacist must have! Good info. UI could be more intuitive. |
