Used to be a great App use it for cycling and running Has been great on my Sony X10 now seems dated on later phones keeps crashing and reverting back to zero although icon On top of screen says a run id in progress but you cant open it. Not very reliable any more Ive just lost another 7 mile run

Can't rate it high Although this app has some good reviews, I can't give it a rating higher than 3 because the developer has failed to keep the app updated and resolve issues that have been posted in the reviews. The apps greatest feature is its connection with RunningAhead, other than that it is just basic. This app hasn't been updated since 2010.

Don't answer calls on a run I mistakenly answered a call at the very end of a run this morning and lost my run data. :( It also seems to over calculate the mileage sometimes...might be due to the gps on my phone though. Other than these bugs this app is great. I've been using it for almost a year now with very few problems.

Good app could be better I have been using this app for several weeks now for work outs longer than 60 minutes at which time the pause button disapears and the stop button gets too small to sellect with sweaty fingers. This is my biggist issue with an otherwise good app.

Moved to Endomondo Very basic app, I used it a lot though on my new phone (Galaxy i 9070) it crashed a lot and did not save tracks. It also crashes when you pull out phones accidently during workout. Besidw that ok.

When it works... This app has been a great app over the last year+ for me. This year there has been multiple times I start handyrunner and watched for a few seconds to make sure it started. After my run it shows nothing and I have a "red guy" icon at the top my screen that says workout started with no other info. I am training for a marathon and can no longer count on HR. Love all the features but I need reliability.

Useless ++sync with runningahead +pause + lap buttons --inaccurate GPS --no keep screen alive option --stop button gets hit by palm when pressing other. ---pause or stop happens when unlocking screen. ---manual entry fails to save on 3G.

Unreliable, but... This app has great potential, however it needs some serious tweaking. More often than not, the manual run entries fail to save. Does not multi-task well without having multiple entries on the same run. When it does work, I do appreciate that it uploads to my RunningAhead account automatically.

There are several other apps out there that are better than this one. Handyrunner doesn't link with a Bluetooth HR monitor and many other apps do.

Awesome but.. Needs an option to display speed instead of pace. Also needs an option for how often to poll position. The random noise in my data caused by the inaccuracies in the GPS added .55 miles to a 1.5 mile route. That's 36% error. Runkeeper is usually only 10% off.

update It's really time to update this app. It has been too long. A lot of cool features could be added and this would be an amazing app. The runningahead website is set to a Monday to Sunday week and Handy Runner is set from Sunday to Saturday.

Suggestions For Pro Version... ? I love this app. The gps works fine for me, it uploads correctly, and I can live with the pace glitch so long as it is correct on runningahead.com. Especially love that I can listen to my own music while tracking. Thing is, programs like c25k & Galloway require an audible timer, too. It would be extremely cool to be able to set timed audio cues while still having your music & all the rest. I'd gladly pay for that feature! Jason's suggestion of polar HRM connection was excellent too.
