[2012-01-24] Lorna: Most useful app EVER I've used epocrates since hearing about it in 2001. Back then it was on my Palm Pilot (OMG, I'm OLD!). Seriously, my most-used app for the last ten years. All the drugs are here in any way, shape or form they come. Adult and peds, warnings, contraindications, side-effects, cost (!), renal dosing, pharmacology, pregnancy risk categories, formularies. Tons of info. Calculators for everything from BMI to creatinine clearance, Framingham risk, pregnancy "wheel," dose-by-weight & more. Absolutely indispensible. |
