[2013-01-14] A Google User: Even better with the latest update It was ok before but is even better now. The only thing I'd add would be an optional checkmark daily to indicate if there were drastic mood variations within the same day. Like, high manic episodes 3 times , 2 major mood drops, in 24 hours. As it is now you can show that you were both elevated and depressed within the same day, but not if it wad both multiple times/how many times within said day. |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: wonderful . this app is exactly everything I wanted and more. I love the grass |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Very useful! I use it everyday and it has become quite useful! |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Love it I love this app, the only thing that would be cool is if you could change the graph colors... Some of them are hard to see when they over lap. But other then that I love it and use it everyday. |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Finally got persistant update notices, so I bought the donationware edition. |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Sleep on graph please Axis labels on right, line graph, would work great |
[2012-11-23] A Google User: Works great Really great app for monitoring your moods. |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Great app Love the simplicity compared to most paper methods. For the rapid cyclers, you can chart your max on each pole and add the number of switches in the notes. This is similar to nimh-lcm charts and I used those with ease while rapid cycling. Hourly mood rating would complicate the app too much in my view. |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Opens everything? Great app. But the last two updates my phone offers to open up my Gmail, reader, twitter... pretty much everything. |
[2012-11-19] A Google User: Great app! Reports are tremendously helpful to help me tell my Dr where my moods have changed and in helping me keep track of days I miss my meds. I wish it had some more customizable features like being able to add routines such as exercising, taking a shower, etc. |
[2012-11-19] A Google User: Great App A great tool to help me see the cycles of my ups and Downs. |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Fantastic! Seriously, one of the best apps I've ever used. Indispensable for psychiatrist appointments. Kudos to the dev for putting up with all of the complaints wanting hourly moods- - this isn't made for cycling THAT rapid, people. |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Mood Tracker Mood Tracker is easy to use and helps my therapist track my elevated moods. This app is easy to use and understand. |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: Rapid moods I think this would be very useful if I could change my mood hourly as well |
[2012-11-14] A Google User: Good start Needs ability to track changes throughout the day, needs more than just four levels for each, and needs high-res support. |
[2012-10-29] A Google User: best app of its kind for android but could improve love the ability to print report feature!!! would be good to track during different times of the day. |
[2012-10-12] A Google User: More Than Once a Day This is a wonderful app but it would be better if it could monitor mood changes throughout a day. |
[2012-10-12] A Google User: Bipolar app I have found this very sufficent and easy to use. If it was to much more detailed I would not use it. My doctors love it. They love to be able to see an over view both daily and monthly. It is easy for them to take just a few minutes to evualte what my moods have been during a month I may not have appoitments with them. So easy to use. Very happy with this app. My doctors now recomend to other patients. |
[2012-10-11] A Google User: Very helpful I can bring this to my psychiatrists appointments to remind myself what I've been like. |
[2012-10-09] A Google User: . The graph is cramped and unchangeable, and frankly unusable. Like others are saying, we need the ability to track certain hours, our moods aren't just static through 24 hours. The 4 levels of mood monitoring are terrible. I hope there's a better app out these. Sorry, dev, but this app just isn't enough. |
[2012-10-07] A Google User: Excellent Great app for tracking moods to identify patterns. Thanks! |
[2012-09-26] A Google User: :/ Needs multi mood inputs/triggers/sleep habits(being able to add a nap)/higher levels to select for moods... I like the u.I. though its good, just that's main stuff everyone needs I figured should be listed. I uninstalled because it lacked the above. Please update and I will redownload and re-rate. |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Great app even w/o bipolar! I think this is a great app for those who struggle with depression or bi-polar, or even a good tool for someone who may be observing a child, client, friend, etc. There are a couple of things I would like to see added and one of them being exercise since it can play a vital role to mood or even allowing the user to set daily goals & check them off. The other is that I think is most important is allowing multiple ratings throughout the day to see if a specific time has triggered the mood or look for patterns |
[2012-09-24] A Google User: Great we all need thid Lov it, however would recomend adding, say spots for meds taken more then once a say, medication time reminder would be most excellent, and for those of us who rapid cycle how about mutliple moods sqy by the hour or what not. Just my two cents. Works great...might want to add a special side event for pms cycles. Just my thoughts. Love it keep up the good work. |
[2012-09-22] A Google User: Not that great It is not all it is cracked up to be. Not very much you can do with it. |
[2012-09-18] A Google User: Love the app, but it needs some updates Having bipolar disorder, my mood can change multiple times in one day. The app is great but it needs to allow for multiple entries in one day, places to record possible triggers for each entry, include a menstrual tracker, diet and exercise tracker, and a sleep tracker. Also a separate area to write down things to talk to your doctor about and keep track of who your doctors are and when your appointments are and your official diagnoses. I would pay good money for an app like that. |
[2012-09-14] A Google User: Not what I was looking for But nice start |
[2012-09-10] A Google User: Great app, but.... Would really like the option to track moods throughout the day. I'm an ultra rapid cycler, so my moods can change by the hour or so. |
[2012-09-01] A Google User: Droid Bionic Thank you for developing this free app. Good job! |
[2012-08-20] A Google User: Very Useful |
[2012-08-18] A Google User: This is correct For those complaining about a once a day log, this is a correct mood chart. Log when you go to bed about your general mood for the day. If you want something more advanced try doing a paper chart... Which is what i've used until now. |
[2012-08-16] A Google User: Love it Just got diagnosed with Bipolar. Not realy believeing. But when you put it in black an white hard to deny. Love that you can email report to doctors hard to remember day to day episodes. |
[2012-08-15] A Google User: +++ app Wonderful app been using it for almost 2, no 3 years. Helps me track triggers and mood to become aware of my recovery from PTSD. |
[2012-08-05] A Google User: Great application. Would be helpful if mood could be recorded more than once in a day. In addition to recording food, alcohol or drugs (not medication) |
[2012-07-23] A Google User: So far so good |
[2012-07-08] A Google User: Great app Great mood tracking tool. |
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Good but has to have an improvement. My mood changes every couple of hours. So once a day is no good. Need option for every 3 hours monitoring for example. I can then rave about this app and give 5 stars!:) |
[2012-06-30] A Google User: Cool Hope this helps track my sons bipolar moods |
[2012-06-27] A Google User: Great app, thank u This really helps me to track my moods & easily share w my psych, who will now share it with her other clients. Suggestions: Make the bar graphs 4 separate line graphs, for easier reading. Put sleep graph in? Add in option to tick if menstrual period. It would be super awesome if increased mood disturbance could be linked up with a known trigger. Eg. So trigger is labeled and shows as attached to the timeline, relevant to visual reptesentation of the mood changes. |
[2012-06-16] A Google User: Great app... I love this app, would enjoy one area to customize. Did lose my data when I got a new phone, but I have emailed reports to refer back to. GREAT WORK! |
[2012-06-15] A Google User: Easy to use, no probs, fab! |
[2012-06-13] A Google User: Not bad Would like to be able to update more than daily but otherwise a useful app. |
[2012-06-08] A Google User: Great App I loved this app, and have used it for a very long time, but recently had to do a hard reset on my phone, and now I can't get any of that data back that I had previously entered. It shows it in the back up, but when I restore the app, none of the data comes with it. Any suggestions?? |
[2012-05-31] A Google User: Useful Both my therapist and mhnp were impressed when I showed them this app & planned on sharing with their other clients. Looking forward to ability to export to excel. |
[2012-05-30] A Google User: Wonderful Love!!! |
[2012-05-30] A Google User: Close to perfect Includes the fields you'd find in a paper mood chart. The design is well thought out and aesthetically pleasing. I would really like a password protection option. |
[2012-05-30] A Google User: This is exactly what i need! However, my meds are daily and it's a bit of an annoyance entering them in for each day... |
[2012-05-24] A Google User: Very useful I've found this app so useful, that's it's just become part of my nightly routine. I would like to see the ability to export/import from one device to another, a new UI for large screen devices, the ability to change some of the tracked items. eg: anxiety isn't a big deal, but distractibility is a big deal |
[2012-05-21] A Google User: Great idea This is a good app. It would be nice to have multiple entries per day and the addition of a sticky note would make this a 5 star app. A great idea that I would like to see further developed. |
[2012-05-19] A Google User: Good for now but needs improvement Please allow a way for tracking moods throughout the day. My mood changes dramatically from hour to hour ( and add notes for what triggered the change). PLEASE add a sleep tracking on the chart as well. Also adding tracking menstrual cycle would be helpful. Still this is an awesome app! Thanks! |
[2012-05-16] A Google User: Love this and now so does my doc! |
[2012-05-12] A Google User: Great app. Love being able to show my dr. just wish there was an option to update mood several times during the day. |
[2012-05-10] A Google User: Nice Cool |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: Nice Very useful. Would be nicer if it could sync with sleep tracker. Should also be able to check off exercise and food. |
[2012-04-29] A Google User: Best mood tracker I've found on any device. Would like ability to add if I've had alcohol or drugs. Would also be nice to have period tracker. |
[2012-04-16] A Google User: Needs work Love the idea of this app but it could be so much better. The graph aspect is quite unattractive and there ought to be a better way to comparitively view moods over time. The accept terms screen keeps popping up and there's no way to stop it (even worse than having ads if u ask me) The app also doesnt fit the whole screen which is a dIsappointing waste of space. I'll check back to see if the app improves in the future. |
[2012-04-15] A Google User: Great App - more customization Great app, but I wish you could customize what you want to track (include important factors like menstural cycle, appetite, etc.) Also would be cool if you could customize it to other disorders (like OCD) and track repetitive thoughts, compulsive actions, etc. Take Bi-polar out of the name, its kinda misleading. |
[2012-04-06] A Google User: Great App Great for tracking my moods but needs another mood level- extreme. This is when your mood becomes a danger to your life or the life of others. HTC Desire Z. |
[2012-03-29] A Google User: GREAT Love it. Would be good to export the moods graph!!! |
[2012-03-22] A Google User: Great to track my nuttiness Helps my psychiatrist see how my viibryd is helping me. |
[2012-03-19] A Google User: Very helpful, excellent interface Very helpful, excellent interface |
[2012-03-17] A Google User: Love this program! |
[2012-03-17] A Google User: It's awesome...it sucks, wait, I'm bi polar Love ya...today, but tomorrow..who knows....LOL, now sad... |
[2012-03-12] A Google User: Excellent graphing and mood charting tool Wish it included sleep chart. Example woke at _ . Nap from _ to _ bed at _. My elevate moods keep sleep cycle irregular. It would be nice to see a pattern on my reports. |
[2012-03-09] A Google User: Great app Great app Having problems with the sending of reports though they keep showing as corrupted when I try to open them. Still using it to track my moods though. |
[2012-03-09] A Google User: Great! Excellent, very useful. Thank you developer. |
[2012-03-05] A Google User: love this I love this as does my Dr. great great great app! |
[2012-03-01] A Google User: Dr recommended I was recommended by my son's Dr to use this ap to track his ADHD symptoms. I love the concept. I think there should be more aps like it for other mood modifying disorders and a tracker added for appeteite. |
[2012-02-28] A Google User: Great App.Would like to track caffeine Intake along with other triggers such as alcohol, drugs. Also tracking exercise would be a great idea. |
[2012-02-28] A Google User: I've added alcohol and exersize as meds but would be nice to be separate. Im not manic but this app looks better than most mood trackers. Useful! |
[2012-02-19] A Google User: Emoods Great app |
[2012-02-10] A Google User: It does what I need it to do. Thank you so much for the mood map! |
[2012-02-01] A Google User: What a joke. "Report" exports exclude meds! First: I'm a dev; apps are hard work, I rarely write bad reviews and don't mean to offend the dev. But I'm also a BPD sufferer, and horrified that real people use this AWFUL app as a "tool" for treatment. Are we all so desperate for relief, we've become immediately grateful for any ol' piece of crap that sounds like it MIGHT help? According to this app's 4-star rating, some of us are. eMoods is totally inadequate for BPD. It offers NO way to analyze patterns, and the only two potentially useful features don't display critical items, such as, oh I dunno, SLEEP and MEDICATIONS. You get a crappy unreadable monthly graph, and an exportable PDF that's essentially a column-checkmark inpatient worksheet. On top of that, the interface is TERRIBLE. Might as well use Excel! It'd be faster to enter and your data could be easily compiled into something USEFUL. |
[2012-02-01] A Google User: Works great! Can't customize and a little behind on the details though. |
[2012-01-26] A Google User: Beware! This app worked amazingly when I started it on July 15, 2011. I would input my info daily and print it out monthly. On November 25, 2011 I went to put my info in and realized all of my past entries were GONE! The only place that reflected I had ever put any info in it was the graph. So all my details that I put in for months went down the drain. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but I'm sure you can understand how devastating this was. So please, be careful! |
[2012-01-25] A Google User: Simple, straight forward, fast Four easy categories. Takes about 15 seconds a day! |
[2012-01-25] A Google User: Great So easy. I love this app! |
[2012-01-25] A Google User: Would prefer greater range Great app. However I'd like to be able to score out of 7 rather than 4. Also would be good to be able to add customisable categories. Eg anxiety, guilt, shame etc by the user. |
[2012-01-25] A Google User: Htc tab & captivate Very helpful app. Great to keep info all in one place. |
[2012-01-20] A Google User: Fantastic I had a vision for what I thought a mood chart app would be like and this is exactly it. Thanks this really helped! |
[2012-01-19] A Google User: I love this app! This app is now an integration part of my well-being monitoring. I can't imagine my life without it. |
[2012-01-08] A Google User: Only wish is to be able to add categories Works well, does not let you add symptoms you may want to track levels of beyond what comes with app. Examples from form I got: mixed state (y/n), number of mood changes (#). |
[2012-01-05] A Google User: Thank you! This has helped so much this last month agree with some of the others about features such as mail the graph and cycle but by no means a complaint. Just thank you guys for this! |
[2011-12-29] A Google User: Meets functionality goals. Needs more features. If one reads the text in the last paragraph of the "About" dialog box, it states, "This program was developed by a 3rd party with inspiration from the free and publicly available Massachusetts General Hospital Bipolar Clinic & Research Program mood chart", etc. The aforementioned mood chart is well known and probably has been in use for quite some time. So in that respect, this program meets its functionality goals. Other than cleaning up some minor bugs, the addition of the monthly chart function is nice, but not of much use on a small screen alone. If it could be emailed along with the monthly chart, so a patient can take it to their doctor's appointments, then it would be much more useful to spot trends. Other enhancements might include tracking mood triggers, which might be included on the chart. And...of course....add missing components from the mood chart this is based on (e.g. - tracking menses). |
[2011-12-20] A Google User: Great but would like to see some more features This app is really helping me track my symptoms and reminding me about medication! I think some features that would be nice are documenting exercise activity, menstrual cycle tracking (for women), and maybe something to do with diet. |
[2011-11-24] A Google User: good basic app Basics are covered by I have to keep other files for more details (exercise, mensus, social contact, journal entry). Would like to be able to backup data - I have to reset my device so will lose all history :-( |
[2011-11-16] A Google User: Good concept, needs track mood/meds by time, sleep qlty&more notes space by symptom.Pdf report corrupted.b nice if it tracked multi conditions ie ptsd |
[2011-11-16] A Google User: Email pdf doesn't work ... And would like to be able to enter mood by time of day separately ... Otherwise very good and useful app |
[2011-11-15] A Google User: Best app ever This has really helped me manage my bipolar disorder and I love that I can send it to my doctor to help manage my meds too |
[2011-11-14] A Google User: Very Close to Perfect I wish the range on the rating scale was wider, the notes section was larger, and that the graph was easier to read and printable. Great app though. |
[2011-11-12] A Google User: Great app for graphing mood |
[2011-11-11] A Google User: Worth a try Contacting dev to see if s/he can make hourly instead of daily. Maybe even integrate with sleep bot. Needs more room for notes. Potential. Lots! |
[2011-11-10] A Google User: So much potential but not there yet, see the app SleepBot and look at how it charts sleep, eMoods would be great if it were similar |
[2011-11-07] A Google User: Needs larger areas to tap to edit dates, date at top of each editing page, more room to write notes, dates on graph, add times, add fatigue & pain |
[2011-11-07] A Google User: Notes Wish there was more room for notes. Also tracking times in the day that cause issue, and triggered the issue, along with a form for extra support. |
[2011-10-28] A Google User: Works well, but there's room for improvement. Want it more precise I.e: what times moods changed, when you take medication, what time you sleep etc. |
[2011-10-22] A Google User: It would be really great if you could enter the time that you felt depressed etc. Ppl who are bipolar need to track specific times as well as mood |
[2011-10-20] A Google User: Easy to use I am using for depression and fatigue. App is user friendly. |
[2011-10-15] A Google User: Great idea Thank you |
[2011-10-12] A Google User: Its a good app for keeping track of one's mental state. However, perhaps there should be more to it. |
