Use CheaperChecker to quickly compare prices of items sold in differing quantities to see if buying in bulk is really a better deal, or to compare different brands of items.

For example:

There are 2 different brands of instant oatmeal.
Brand A comes in boxes of 12 packets that weigh 0.98 oz for $4.00
Brand B comes in boxes of 10 packets that weight 1.51 oz for $3.69

Which is a better deal?  How much better is it?

Plugging in the numbers to CheaperChecker shows that Brand A costs 39% more per oz than Brand B, so if you eat oatmeal every morning before work you could save almost $40 a year by eating Brand B instead of Brand A!
(Assuming you eat the same amount of Brand A vs Brand B every morning)

CheaperChecker can also compare items in different scales, like lbs to kg or liters to fluid ounces, making it easy to compare 2 liters of soda to a 12 pack of cans, or import items compared to domestic.

Checkbook is an app you can use in place of a paper checkbook and makes it easier than you think to handle your finances. Make an impulse purchase today? That's okay, but don't forget to deduct it from your account balance. Even the online bank statements lag when posting transactions-- sometimes causing you to believe you have more money than you do. That is not to their disadvantage: it's yours!
