Depositing checks works OK I found that I could deposit a check as long as I don't try to fill the framing box with the check. If I pull back, the camera on my Nexus 4 seems to be able to focus will enough. Would be useful if the focusing was dynamic and not just when the shutter is pressed, like the stock camera app. It would reduce the number of retakes. It's all about convenience.

Couldn't find check deposit feature. I had the original version prior to check deposit and it wouldn't let me search for updates. I had to uninstall and re-install the new version. Great app though.

Deposit check function is near worthless. Using HTC One V I was initially excited to see the check deposit function in this app. The first time I used it I had no issues. Every time since has been more trouble than crawling to the bank on my hands and knees. The auto focus does not work until you actually hit the camera/take picture icon/button. Then it'll focus. Fine. But with every check I've submitted it tells me that the amount I've entered does not match the check. If I restart the process from the beginning it will eventually accept the deposit, but it may take as many as three times. Frustrated.

Back Button Exits The App When I use the Android App and I use the BACK button (which if often done to hide the keyboard after data entry) the whole app exits and one must open and login again. This is not the usual behavior of Android Apps, including my two other banking apps. Compared to my Ally and Alliant banking Apps this is in third place, but you get 3 stars for just having an app which is better then no app.

Good Start Needs improvement I live on the east coast. This would be a great app for me except the limit is way too low. Most all the checks I want to deposit are above the $1500 limit. I now have to deposit the funds in Band of America account and pay a fee to transfer the funds to my Union Bank account.

Mobile Check Deposit option missing On my T-Mobile Samsung SGH-T839, the app installs just fine and I'm able to log in... I just can't do the one thing I wanted to do with it, which is deposit checks. The "check deposit" option isn't there in the main menu (all the other options are). After talking with three customer service people on the phone, it seems that this is just a bug that can't be solved.

Great App, almost I downloaded this last week and have made 3 deposits with it. The limit of $1500 per day; $3000 per month, Then increasing to $3000 per day and $6000 per month after 6 months is OK, The part I don't like is the 5 check per month limit on either amount limit. Being a self-employed bookkeeper I get about a dozen checks per month from my clients. I asked at the branch if they could raise that, and at this time the answer is no. Other than that it is a great app.

Limits Monthly dollar limits as well as limits on how many checks you may scan. Useless. I just deposited one out of two checks I have, which means I still have to visit a branch.

Transfer feature doesn't work!!! I use to love this app but for some reason the transfer feature of the app stopped working. Every time I enter a dollar amount I get kicked out. I have called the number listed on the app and was told I needed to use desktop site from now on. If they were to fix the transfer feature I would rate much much higher.

No good for business I only give it 3 start, because i installed this app for our business account and does not work for me. i wouldn't even work for my personal. the limit is 1500 monthly deposit, that's not enough. i have bank of america for personal and i think is 5,000 mobile deposit per month. that's much better

Monthly $1500 deposit limit for business customers Found out today there is a MONTHLY limit of $1500 for deposits and it applies to my business accounts. Can't run a business this way. The whole point is to save time but with a limit like this it means I get to choose one or two days out of the month to use the mobile app and save driving, parking, and going into the branch. Is anyone actually thinking there at Union Bank? This is so unlike their usual customer responsiveness. I expect them to be a little slow technology-wise, not that I like this but have know it's a fact since moving there in 2011. This, however isn't just slow implementation of technology... Something else entirely. Every other financial institution I deal with has mobile deposit with a daily limit in the range of this monthly limit -- and those are personal accounts, not business. Branch personnel say it's 'company policy'. If the branch manager can't over-ride this I'm out of there and will find a new bank that understands technology a little better and cares more about servicing small business customers.

So Far, So Good UBOC itself wasn't particularly helpful with finding and installing this app, which I just now finished locating and installing. Though I've attempted only one transaction so far, I'm thrilled because it was successful. It did exactly what I needed it to do: Let me deposit a check quickly and easily. I needed the funds deposited ASAP, but going to the bank right now would have been a problem. I'm so glad this app allowed me to do what I needed done.

Has a few bugs My sessions get timed out almost instantly at times when I click on different options on the tool bar.. Its frustrating when it makes you have to log back on when the session is timed out so quickly. Not a fan of this latest update at all..

Marginal at best Useful to check balances and makes transfers. And possibly for sending Paypal money. Useless to view pictures of your checks (virtual carbon of the check you wrote), deposit by photo, or any other feature you might want to use your smart phone for. Also poor design of user interface. Menu on bottom should show up when menu button is pressed.. as every other decent Android app does.

Better before It used to be that balance summary would chronologically list the activity on the account. Now it lists all the deposits then all the check deductions and so forth. It gets confusing and time consuming. This later version is best with PC but not with mobile app. Bring back the other version please.

I DON'T SEE THE POINT.. All it does is forward me to the online website? What does this app offer that online website dosent? The website is actually more beneficial as you get the option to flip through multiple websites at the same time where as with the app you are stuck with 1 window that is fixed on the uboc website. I honestly dont see the point in this app it does nothing more than your website bookmark as far as I notice. disappointing being a customer for 9 years waiting for a uboc app to be released since phones had web.
