[2012-07-09] Nick: Very cross with Santander When I signed up in the UK branch they told me all about this amazing app which turns out to not work unless you live in Spain. So I feel that I was lied to by the branch manager who pretended that the bank is technologically advanced. I was so happy with my previous bank who had a very capable app and I am no longer able to manage my account on the go, let alone that their online system is extremely hard to use. It also looks as if Santander will take their time with building this much needed app. |

[2012-06-13] Pete: Lack of UK support is an issue For Spain users I'm sure this works fine, however Santander is now one of the UKs major banks, and it should be capable of offering a similar level of mobile support to users in other customer bases. That it doesn't does reflect poorly on the app because it therefore doesn't do what its customers blatantly need. Poor show Santander. |
