Ministocks is a simple and powerful stocks widget, giving you quick and easy access to your stock information.

The Ministocks stocks widget has the following features:

• Four widget sizes available
• Add unlimited widgets
• Stock symbol search
• Price change - daily and against buy price
• Profit and loss - current valuation and total gain
• High price and low price alerts
• Foreign exchange prices
• Data sourced from Yahoo Finance
• Foreign exchange daily changes
• Custom update schedule

In addition, Ministocks stocks widget is:

•  Zero ads

Ministocks uses finance data sourced from Yahoo Finance, and recognises the same symbols.

★  Note that this application runs as a widget only, please ensure that you understand this before you download and rate/review.  If the widget does not appear after install, try rebooting your device.

This application is open source and hosted at GitHub.  This should give you peace of mind about your data security.

★  There is currently a known issue with the data feed (used by many other stock applications) and Spanish/Indian stocks are currently unavailable, Yahoo have stated that they have no plans on supplying this data going forward.

Does not autoupdate for some reason Have defined a custom update schedule for US markets open/close. However, it doesn't auto refresh prices according to the schedule, I have to manually update. Not sure why Would have been a handy widget it auto update was working.

No Auto Resize Great widget, unfortunately always leaves room for multiple stocks, which means it takes up way too much space to just monitor a few. If you try to resize smaller, it becomes unreadable even though there is plenty of space. Needs an auto resizing function. Otherwise, I'd use.

Like this! This was exactly what I was looking for in a stocks widget; small print, black/transparent, and ALL Yahoo exchanges listed. To list currencies, use syntax similar to yahoo. For example, USD to Norwegian kroner: USDNOK=X. SHould resolve to "USD to NOK" when returning to the home screen.

Why can't I put stock symbols in? This used to work better. Something has changed and now when I try to add a stock symbol it doesn't find it and there is no place to press search. The widget says you have to use symbols from yahoo finance. Huh? I hope they fix this soon. I like this widget.

You have to reboot If you dont restart it will do nothing but show a black box on screen. Once you reboot, it responds to user requests. Very strange. This is the only app I have to do this with...
