Please DO NOT move Financisto to SD card if you're using widget and/or scheduled transactions.

*PERMISSIONS*

INTERNET - automatic error reporting (can be switched off in the preferences); for downloading currency rates in multi-currency transfer; to do online backup to Dropbox and Google Docs; also required by Google Maps component to edit/view locations

LOCATION - to stamp current location on a transactions, can be switched off in the preferences

CAMERA - to attach pictures to transactions

*FAQ*

Q: Menu button is not there on my phone, what to do?
A: There should be a way for you phone to work with pre-ICS apps. For example, on the HTC One V you must *PRESS AND HOLD* the app switch button (the right most button with the two overlapping square) and then it acts as a menu button.

Q: Why currency XYZ is missing?
A: You can add any currency manually. Go to Menu -> Entities -> Currencies -> [+]

Q: How to delete account/transaction/balance etc?
A: Long tap on an item in the list to bring up popup menu

Q: Shortcuts do not work on Home screen
A: Try to restart your phone, it helps with most of the launchers out there

Q: Home currency and exchange rates give me wrong total
A: Please take a look http://orangesoftware.ru/android/financisto-1-5-6 how the total get calculated with Home currency

Amazing Functionality it provides is stuning. Using it for almost 17 months now and have more than 2k entries and still has smooth performance. Would be nice to see a Close button on the password screen as it happens to open it by mistake and have to login to close it properly. Would be also nice to be able to see the time in the title of the adjusting window as my fingers cover it while using the + button.

Worthless I've been using this software for over a year backing up daily was automatic. But it backs up your info to your phone, not sd. Want to restore? Too bad if you reset your phone... it's been deleted. Worthless app. There is nothing lower than 1 star otherwise this app would get it

PIN Request Annoying I used to love this apps. But PIN request for every transaction is really annoying. Although I disable New Transaction PIN in Preferences., it still request a PIN. Please fix this.

Отличная программа Нашла все, что нужно - многовалютность, переводы между счетами, автоматическое скачивание курсов, иерархические категории, проекты. Есть импорт/экспорт и резервное копирование. Удобный и красивый интерфейс. Делаю пожертвование. UPD: Очень не хватает минимального встроенного калькулятора (сложение, вычитание) при вводе суммы проводки.

Simply the Best This is without a doubt the best personal expense tracker on Android......and it's not even close. As mentioned by others, I'd like to see syncing across multiple devices as well as an update to the UI to match more closely with the current version of android. Keep up the good work.

A simple-way sync across multiple devices is missing here, but i can live without that. Excellent Wonderful app. I have messed around with various finance apps and this one looks beautiful and functions perfectly. It could be made a bit more user friendly [some tricky terminology for people who have not a clue about economics or financial terms], but otherwise seems just about perfect. nice app! I've been using this app for a few weeks now. I want to give it a 5 but there's a small bug that ruins the user experience. every time I create a new transaction, my previously entered values keep on resetting if I select a category... i hope it will be fixed in the next version. Overall, it's a nice app!

Brilliant I've used this app since 2010 and every time I get a new phone is the first app I download. Nothing else compares. Recently used a Windows Phone and anything similar is terrible. Even on iOS there's nothing as good. This is the main reason I had to get an Android phone again. It's that good lol. Does everything I need. Wish it was on other platforms though as I'd have it on everything. Only thing I'd add is the ability to auto upload backups to Google as it's more convenient than using Dropbox.

Love it This is the best free money manager application I have come across on the Play Store. The versatility and features are unparalleled. There are a couple of feature requests: 1. UI refresh to Holo, especially the date and time pickers 2. Ability to split transactions across accounts. If there is something I paid for in part by one account, and the rest by another, I have to make two separate transactions to reflect that.

Good. I compared a few apps to find one that was flexible and suited my needs, and this is the best one out there that I'm aware of. Still room for improvement, as there always is, but the solid foundation is there. reporting needs an overhaul - it's got all my data stored pretty much the way i want it but it doesnt present it back to me nicely or in a helpful manner.
