BitcoinSpinner (v. 0.7.3b) Разработано Jan Moller |
BitcoinSpinner is a light-weight, secure, and user friendly Bitcoin wallet for Android.
Feature Overview:
* Send and receive Bitcoins using QR codes.
* One-time wallet backup using a QR-code that can be restored on another Android device.
* All your Bitcoins are protected using private keys stored on your device using app private storage.
* No heavy block chain download, BitcoinSpinner is ready for use immediately.
* Address book
* Transaction history.
BitcoinSpinner is NOT an on-line Bitcoin Bank. Nobody can run away with your Bitcoins. It is implemented on top of the BCCAPI, which means that all the heavy lifting associated with managing the block chain is done by a server. The server side is in no position to spend your Bitcoins, as all private keys are stored on your device. More info on the BCCAPI here: http://goo.gl/OqvQ9
More features:
* Open source: http://code.google.com/p/bitcoinspinner/
* Spend 'change-sent-to-yourself' immediately, just like the Satoshi client.
* Share your Bitcoin address using Gmail, Twitter and more.
* Automated network fee calculation, guaranteeing that your transactions go through the Bitcoin network.
* BitcoinSpinner does not download and manage the Bitcoin block chain. This means:
* Ready for use immediately.
* Low storage requirements.
* Low bandwidth requirements.
* Low CPU requirements.
* Low battery consumption.
BitcoinSpinner comes in two versions. This is the one for real production Bitcoins. If you want to try it out with worthless test Bitcoins look for BitcoinSpinner Testnet.
NOTICE: This is a beta release. Use at your own risk.

[2013-01-02] A Google User: Worked perfect till upgrade. Updated and sent 2 coins 24 hours later still unconfirmed. Nothing will send. Previously great app. Update: bugfix. Got all coins back. Upgrade actually made the fix for the previous error that was occurring. |
[2012-12-31] A Google User: Best portable Bitcoin wallet I have found. Works great! I have not found a problem with it. Have been using it for a couple months now. Much better than the competition. |
[2012-12-13] A Google User: Poor If you say the transaction fee is a certain price that's what it should be. Period. Not unexpected error bc u want more |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: Best bitcoin app Very fast, reliable and lightweight |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Light, easy to use and stable Works perfectly on my Galaxy Nexus. |
[2012-10-24] A Google User: Perfect android client. Bitcoin Spinner is very straightforward and easy to use. The private key is stored locally on your device, but the blockchain is handled by the Bitcoin Spinner server. This is a great way for you to be in control your private keys, but not to have to deal with the blockchain download on a mobile device. |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: my favorite slim and simply easy.love it |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: the best such a small app and it does it all.my favorite |
[2012-10-04] A Google User: No dice. This app never loaded a bitcoin address, just sat there spinning. Perhaps that explains the name. Tried clearing all data and reinstalling. Still didn't work. Oh, well. |
[2012-09-30] A Google User: Most elegant bitcoin wallet for Android Highly recommended. This program is regularly improved too. |
[2012-09-08] A Google User: Awsome Awsome |
[2012-09-07] A Google User: Doesn't work Can't send any bitcoins, says unexpected error. |
[2012-09-01] A Google User: Great wallet but.... It will not let me send my coins! All it says is unexpected error. Wth |
[2012-07-22] A Google User: Simple and functional It does what it's supposed to do. Thanks for this useful tool, and for maintaining the required server infrastructure. I hope users donate in support of this. |
[2012-07-19] A Google User: Great! Fantastic Bitcoin app! Wallet encryption or at least some kind of generic password protection would be nice, though... |
[2012-06-23] A Google User: Awesome bitcoin wallet Fast and lightweight bitcoin client, it's now easier than ever to pay in btc! Need a password protection but i think it will get one in the next version. |
[2012-06-20] A Google User: This the app I was looking for |
[2012-06-11] A Google User: Perfect Amazing little app. Great communication with the developer. |
[2012-06-07] A Google User: Love it! Does everything I want, and very fast. |
[2012-05-30] A Google User: works very well Ok, last week I did my first transaction in the street and it worked perfectly. Looking at the lower ratings: "background color" Are you seriously down-rating this app for the color?? "security concerns" seriously? role your own app. It's open source and the server can not steal your coins anyway. This app is 100% secure (if you compile it yourself). I can't vouch for the market version though but Jan Moller is less anonymous on google play than most of the other Bitcoin service hosters. "0.05BTC fees" Seriously not. The fee is 0.0005BTC which is a quarter US cent and goes to the miners, not to the dev. You can expect this fee to be removed where save to be removed in future versions but please don't be that picky with this great app! "4 stars for" "the best in the field so far"/"Excellent. Lightweight and fast." Why down vote? As much as I would prefer to promote a full client, this is probably not gonna cut it on the long run anyway, so Spinner is the one I suggest to anybody. Light-weight, fast, perfect ;) (well, maybe not perfect but I know all the missing features will come very soon.) |
[2012-05-18] A Google User: ! Best android wallet I've used so far , no question. |
[2012-04-02] A Google User: Decent app. I do have my concerns about how safe it is tho. |
[2012-03-30] A Google User: Good This app and Blockchain are the best so far. |
[2012-03-19] A Google User: Best Bitcoin app to date The best Bitcoin app to date, by far. Its feature set is limited but well-implemented. Features I would like to see: * import private keys * generate new keys * change miner fee settings I'd also like the ability to change the server it hits, but I understand that it uses BCCAPI, which I don't believe is an open implementation. Electrum is an open alternative, and I'd like to see a re-implementation of this app that uses it. |
[2012-03-14] A Google User: Bitcoin made easy! Look no further. This is the Android bitcoin app to use! |
[2012-03-09] A Google User: Finally! The bug is fixed! BitcoinSpinner is now the best bitcoin wallet for Android; simple and slick! Droid X. |
[2012-02-11] A Google User: Best Bitcoin client for Android Fast, light, works |
[2012-02-05] A Google User: very nice and easy to use well done, very simple, covers the basics. address book and some tiny things are missing. Remember, that you have to trust the server (he can't steal, but maybe cheat). Don't forget to donate! |
[2012-01-27] A Google User: Unable to install on TMobile/Samsung Galaxy S It's not listed in the market when I search and if I try to download it from the web, it says it's not compatible with my device. What's up? I really need this app! Please/Thanks! |
[2012-01-18] A Google User: Works beautifully Works very well. Very responsive and I love that a backup has to be made only once at installation time and is good for ever. |
[2012-01-17] A Google User: ... Superb app. Works flawlessly. |
[2012-01-17] A Google User: Very well done! No block chain hassles |
[2012-01-13] A Google User: Good start Needs to let you select a server to use, and needs to allow you to choose how much you want to spend on transaction processing fees, but otherwise this is a much better approach than storing the blockchain on your phone. |
[2011-12-15] A Google User: mandatory fee There is a built-in fee for every transaction. It is .05 BTC if I recall. I would like an option to turn off the processing fee and pay 0 BTC processing. Great app otherwise, but this fee prevents me from using the app. |
[2011-12-09] A Google User: Bitcoinspinner Excellent. Lightweight and fast. |
[2011-12-06] A Google User: Works good, ugly background color though. |
[2011-12-02] A Google User: A little plain but functional. Not quite as well designed as bitcoin wallet, but low cpu requirements. |
[2011-11-26] A Google User: Nice. Simple and straightforward. |
[2011-11-25] A Google User: Excellent |
[2011-11-24] A Google User: Great wallet app! Very lightweight bitcoin client perfect for everyday use with small amounts. Functions much like a physical cash wallet. |
