SOFTWARE-BASED CREDIT CARD TERMINAL
AprivaPay is software that is easily downloaded to your cell phone. The software turns your Android device into a mini credit card transaction terminal that can perform the same functions as a traditional wireless terminal but at a fraction of the cost.
CHOICE
In most cases, you can use your existing payment processing provider. If you don’t accept cards today, or want to shop around, choose from the hundreds of AprivaPay partners that work best for your needs.
GETTING STARTED
Before you can accept credit card payments with AprivaPay, you’ll need to set up a merchant account (if you don’t already have one), so that your bank can fund your transactions. Once you have a merchant account, it’s easy to get started. Here’s what you’ll need:
1. Smartphone with data (service) plan
2. Merchant account (new or existing)
3. AprivaPay downloadable app
4. Optional card reader/printer

[2013-02-13] A Google User: USE ROOT HIDER WITH THIS APP DOWNLOAD "ROOT HIDER" TO USE THIS APP AND IT WILL WORK ON ROOTED DEVICES. Whenever you have any app that will not work on rooted devices download "ROOT HIDER" and you then have full access to restricted apps despite the arbitraries. Customer service swore it would not work so once again we prove it does! :-) |

[2013-01-04] A Google User: Okay app, BUT... Run CCs on the go. Its easy & fast but a few things need changed. 1) When you hit your "go back" key on the phone, IT CLOSES THE APP! Chang it so you go back to the previous screen. If I hit "Refund" & meant to hit "Void", tapping the "go back" key should take you back to the main menu NOT close the app. 2) Add another choice in "More Options" screen at bottom to remove the extra options. 3) Store previously ran transactions for later review in case you need to pull it up or reprint or email receipts again |

[2012-11-17] A Google User: Brian I was promised a printer and card reader. Still waiting for it. I have to key punch the cards in, and I am charged the higher rate, even though its their broken promise. |

[2012-09-26] A Google User: Horrible They sent me 4 card readers for my phone and not one of them worked. Their customer service is substandard, not capable to follow through or make a simple notation to the cliens jacket so is not a surprise every time you call back. They completely changed the meaning of the word Escalating to Let me pass the bucket to some one else. |

[2012-06-29] A Google User: Sucks bad This app doesn't work on my unrooted thunderbolt or my rooted thunderbolt. Now the developer wrote into the code for the app to check if your phone is rooted and if so it closes out the app immediately ! Horrible app and horrible customer service |
