Find your favorite shows and movies, control your TV, and schedule DVR recordings—all with the XFINITY TV app.  The XFINITY TV app puts a world of entertainment right at your fingertips!

Find what to watch using a few taps:
- Browse TV listings customized to your area
- Browse an On Demand library featuring thousands of titles
- Search TV listings and On Demand for any show or movie
- Filter content by genre, network, HD, free and much more

Control your TV and DVR:
- Conveniently change channels right from the app
- Tune directly to On Demand programs to watch on your TV
- Schedule DVR recordings of your favorite shows, series, and movies

Requirements:
- Internet connection (Wi-Fi or 3G)
- Compatible cable/set-top box (for TV and DVR control). Please see http://www.xfinity.com/eligibleboxes for more details.
- Comcast ID or Comcast.net Email Address (and Password)
- Some restrictions may apply. Not available in all areas.

Initial Setup Notes:
Please be at home with your TV and cable boxes turned on. Messages will appear on your TV screen to help you name your boxes for easier identification and control.

Compatibility and Known Issues:
- Xfinity TV app supports most Android handsets running Android 2.1 and higher.
- Xfinity TV app supports the Motorola Xoom tablet running Android v3.1.  Other Honeycomb v3.1 tablets with a 1280x800 resolution should work.  We will certify the application on additional tablets soon.
- Xfinity TV app may work on other Android devices not listed above but it has not been designed or optimized for them.  They are currently unsupported.
- Xfinity TV app currently supports devices that allow more than a 16MB memory limit on applications and will automatically detect the required memory. This includes most devices. However, the AT&T HTC Aria is a notable exception and is not compatible.

*Xfinity TV app supports many-but not all-Comcast set top boxes. Specifically, Scientific Atlanta set top boxes are not yet supported. Please see http://www.xfinity.com/eligibleboxes for details about currently supported set top boxes.

Worthless without ability to watch content It just a fancy TV guide. Controlling DVR uses browser, can't watch any content. Come on Comcast, bring it up to ipad functionality.

Help me! It worked everyday up to this day when I click to change channels and it says something like you must log out and sign back in but I've tried 5 times!

Needs an update Works good for the most part but they need to update to include additional cable boxes. I can't use as remote or set up dvr due to the kinda boxes.

Play Now Why doesn't the android version have the 'play now' feature like the iTunes version?Without 'play now' its just a remote. I should be able to watch my shows on an android tablet like I can on an iPad

Not sure what happened, but the Nashville TN channel guide is screwed up in this app, which makes it useless now. Xfinity Mobile's guide is correct.

Xfinity Love the concept and it works most of the time. The frustrating part is trying to scroll the channel list, it keeps popping back to the bottom.

Add streaming support over 3G,4G, & WiFi Please add the ability to stream content to our phones using a 3G, 4G, and WiFi connection. If you can offer this feature on the iPad/iPhone, Android customers should be offered this capability as well. Please DO NOT restrict streaming to WiFi only connections like you did with the iPad/iPod app.

Its simple. The iphone xfinity tv app lets you stream shows. This app does not. Until it gets that functionality it is worthless.

Ok app- bad data Decent app but the channel list is randomly wrong. Stations missing too often. Tried reporting to Comcast and the agents never got it. Not surprised.
