In the early 1980s the UK went into a state of panic. It was the age of the video nasty! Films were prosecuted, taken to court and in some cases found guilty of obscenity. Owning or distributing them was punishable by imprisonment.
Relive those days - this app brings together ten of the films banned during at that time. With details of and original trailers for each of them you can judge for yourself what all the fuss was about.
This is a fan made app using clips freely available on the net. Although just promotional trailers some contain graphic violence and should not be viewed by minors or people of a nervous disposition. You have been warned!

[2012-02-26] Calum: Really good reference This is a really good reference for fans and newcomers of the video nasties. I think it's brilliant to have a good reference at hand quickly instead of searching through numerous web pages to find a detailed reference. Just need a full version possibly with professional reviews in case someone is curious about a particular film. Overall a good app, just need the complete list. |
