Cool, but could be better It looks great on my htc Incredible, but on the Rezound it doesn't fill the screen (1280x720). It works fine on both though, I just wish I could stretch the image at least.

Bait and switch... Horrible waste of money. It does not scale up and no refund option? It only fits half my screen even though the screenshots resize and perfectly fits my screen. I feel ripped off. I'll change my review if they correct this... no refund, probably because I tried it on my last phone which it didn't like either... grrrrr

Galaxy S 2 Epic Cool app but you can't read any of the tech info on the super small display screen. And there's no way to enlarge the info screen. App could be a lot better & be worth the money.

Fun little app the application is pretty cool and most of the functions work as shown in the video except that when scanning for metallic objects externally, if you switch over and try to load the alpha library it kicks you out into your internet browser instead of staying in the application. Otherwise I love this application. Wish it could get the videos on smaller screen devices though.

Not What I Wanted There used to be an app, until CBS *illegally* killed it, that was a Tricorder. It had a metal detector, audio analyzer, seismograph, and they all worked. Now ... all we have is *this*. No offense, but, seriously?

Regretfully Disappointed I was pretty excited to find this app, and I wasn't at all hesitant to pay $1 for it. But what I didn't know before I bought it has made me regret buying it now. First off, I have a phone with very little internal storage, but I have a 32GB micro SD card. This app is over 9MB, mainly because of features like crew videos, which are neat, but if you don't want these (as in an effort to conserve space) there's no way to delete them, as far as I can tell. Secondly, the size wouldn't be a problem if I could move it to my SD card. Apparently his app needs to reside on the phone. Maybe that's because it uses the phone's GPS for certain features; I don't know. But there should be the ability to move this app to your storage card with a warning that some functionality will be lost. I don't regret paying a $1 for this app, but now I don't even want it on my phone because it eats up too much precious storage. For those of you with LOTS of space on your phone, go for it, it's worth a dollar. But for those of you who own older phones with practically no internal memory, well, I hope you really like Star Trek.

Worthless App. A totally worthless app, not worth the $0.99 I paid. I tried to access Memory Alpha and Wikipedia as shown in the demo video and the app just froze up and had to force close. I'm uninstalling and advising anyone thinking of buying this app to not waste your money.

Waste of money Purely cosmetic. An older Tricorder app that was distributed freely was packed full of useful features but this is a sad disappointment. By the time you read the instructions and press a couple buttons, it's too late to get a refund :( I'd feel better about losing the $1 if I'd have dropped it in the street.

Tricorder TR-580 Did very little. By the time it finally installed and loaded, the very short 15 min that it allows to get a refund was almost up. When I tried a couple of features and decided that it wasn't worth what I paid, it was too late to get a refund.

Welp cool idea fix it. Bug fix the constant tricorder sound in background. Really liked that but switched up some prefs and the background beeping quit on me. This was the aesthetic pull man! You gotta fix that token beep! Droid bionic. EDIT: STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY. REFUNDED.

Good app, but needs an update. I just purchased the new EVO 3D unit, and the resolution is MUCH higher than the previous units. The LCARS display for the Tricorder does not fill up the display, but simply fills about a quarter of the space in the upper left hand part of the screen. I am hoping for an update, as for all the other functions it is REALLY cool.
