The prize for the winner not only includes a chance to record a debut album and 300million KW, but also a contract with a major entertainment management company and an opportunity to perform on a special stage at Mnet Asia Music Awards – the biggest music award show in Asia.
In 2010, SUPER STAR K season 2 recorded the highest ratings in the history of Korean cable television, and more than 1.3million contestants participated. In this new season of SUPER STAR K, a local audition will be held in Japan.
