Simply works Simple to set up and connect to my existing slingbox using my desire z (aka G2). Automaticaly makes sky plus buttons appears accross multiple menues. Very pricey...yet i still paid for it.

Update for ICS Please update so that the soft keys on the Galaxy Nexus (and all other future Android 4.0 phones) are hidden when the video is playing. Video is also a bit choppy for some reason.

Used to work good. Works perfect via WiFi, but 3g is another story. I seem to constantly lose my connection via 3g, and changing channels or FFWD on DVR seems to crash the connection. SlingMedia really needs to update this APP. You would think for a $30 app, they would keep it updated.

Rubbish Don't buy! Stay away from it. My slingbox won't connect now or register my new Thomson router which i got cause i upgraded my broadband speeds to 100 megs with upc Ireland a few months back. There is no customer support or updates for this product. Only recognises handful of routers. Usually old models. The sling hardware is expensive and the app also, only to be let down badly by lack of support.

Great App App works great for me on Droid Bionic. $30 is high price but I have been able to watch games anywhere, including over airplane internet. I have had very little off the crashing problems mentioned by other posters.

missed the best games my password just stopped working on my Android Galaxy S2 randomly ...asks me repeatedly for password (and there is nothing wrong with my password because it works on a computer) there is no linked tech support on the application and no new update that will fix this. i am overseas and missed some great football. super- disappointed.... don't expect the app to work just because it cost $30.

Sling Media are scammers! First they want $30 each for an app for my Android phone and my Android tablet - even though the Slingbox can only stream to one app/device at a time. Now, after paying another $30 for the tablet version, it tells me it will not work with my Slingbox Pro which has the HD addon. The hardware cost $300 alone several years ago, they charge $30 for each copy of the player, now they want hundreds more for a new device. Frankly I'm disgusted by this company's greed!

Not many complaints Not a cheap app to purchase, that's for sure... For the most part the app works as intended. The only issue I've run into thus far is fast forwarding from DVR/On demand. At times, it will cause the slingbox app to stop working.. and I need to reload it. Overall, I believe it's a MUST have app for anyone that owns a slingbox! Very good clarity (I have the HD slingbox, if that makes any difference).

Ally I've had this app for a long time and I've always thought it was the next best thing to the Android itself. The only problem I've ever had just started when I switch from the HTC Thunderbolt to the HTC Rezound, and it's that each time I exit the app, I get a Force Close message when I get back to my Home Screen. It doesn't Force Close when I'm in the app itself, only when I exit but it is just annoying to have to tap the "Force Close" button every time I exit. Please fix for Rezound.

Terrible Support If you need to try the player for more then 15 minutes (and frankly, that is to short a time frame to test everything out), then forget getting a refund from Sling Media. It took me two weeks of bounced emails, non-working support numbers and finally calling the company's corporate number to only be told no refund is possible! The good news is my carrier was able to intervene and issue a refund for me! The app does work but I would shy away because Sling Media has such lousy support and customer relations.
