It a great app but... I don't know if its my phone but i run cm7 and my phone freezes when connet the tv and evo, i know its good because i used to have this with deck's reloaded. Any help if at all any updates.

Boogie Good app. I had to turn phone off before putting in dock. Attach dock, turn on phone, then restart phone. Open app. Then touch mirror. Works great with netflix on my EVO 4 .

My evo is a desktop now! This app let's me use my Evo as a desktop. I'm rooted & running CM7.2. I use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse along with my 4g wimax connection. I can lay back on my couch while my phone streams EVERYTHING to my TV. This app totally makes my phone awesome. Only problem is that after running the app, I have to reboot or my audio is screwed up on the phone. Small price for such great functionality.

All work no play!!! although it says it doesn't work on the new upgrade they need to install a feature to make it work ... why would you have a nap for most users that's not up to date? I spent all this time with no success on it.... keeps saying cable not detected this is a poor excuse for technology and for the average user it is a waste of time

Awesome I rooted my evo 4g just for this. Once root install cyanogen. You will also need to install market app to get this app. Its the only way to watch netflix on LCD tv

No more white screen, It works on 2.3.5 here is how. warning says "app wont work w 2.3.3 update",I dwnloaded the app anyway & flashed The linked sense kernel. App worked-but sense kernel whited out the screen on camera/videos & youtube apps! HERE IS THE FIX. Search, dwnload, & flash this kernel-"2.3.3-1-793-HDMwIn-Sense233-alpha-signed.zip" I got it from xda developers. Now app works perfectly on my rooted evo 4g gingerbread/sense 2.3.5. Revolutionary. Remember u must b rooted, Grant superuser permissions & u dont need daemon download, ignore it & back out .

Audio problem Even though the headphone icon is displayed, and I'm telling HDMwIn to output analog via that Jack, the sound still comes out of the built in speakers. Unfortunately I'm adapting to DVI for my video, so I can't test to see if digital audio via HDMI is working or not. However, the HDMI video works flawlessly!

Finally Got it working..... HTC evo 4G with CM7.1 on gingerbread 2.3.7 initially with stock CM kernal. Wouldnt work. Flashed latest Tiamat 4.1.0 kernal and still wasn't working. Finally mirrored after playing youtube video with this app running, THEN plugging in HDMI cable. After this is done each time it will mirror in any app with great pic & sound.
