Go Scoring Camera (v. 1.1.2) Разработано James Babcock |
Score Go games automatically from a photograph. Get the real score of a finished game, or estimate the score of a game in progress. Supports both (Japanese) and area (Chinese) scoring. Identifies dead stones automatically, but lets you override its judgment. Use with any 19x19, 13x13, or 9x9 board, or play a 9x9 or 13x13 game using part of a 19x19 board.
Note: Doesn't work well with photos of computer monitors or televisions; the photo must be sharp enough to see the grid lines. For best results, photograph the board itself.

[2012-03-12] Kythlyn: Works well, but lacks some basic features. I'm thrilled that this app exists. It makes it easy to score games and keep finished boards in digital form (sgf). What it lacks is in the details. There should be an option to change where the saved files are kept (on the SD card or internal storage, and what specific folder). It would be nice if the app could remember some player names and if there was an input field for player rank. There's also a large problem where if you use the exact same player names twice when saving games, the program will overwrite the old game instead of creating a second save file. Still, it's well worth the $5. I hope it is improved in the future. |

[2012-01-25] Vladimir Levin: Brilliant! Very cool app Does a great job with screenshots and photos of games on my Asus Transformer tablet. You can even save games in sgf format! My only complaint is that it uploads images to a server for analysis, so you need wifi turned on to use it. Note: Force closed on me when I tried to use the "Take Picture" option, but I just took a photo using the Android camera app and then used the "Load From Gallery" option instead. Not sure the former option is even worth keeping if it causes any problems. |
