Prevent drunk dialing and texting!
** Note: Has only been tested on Android 1.6

Remember that time you had one too many beers and ended up calling your ex confessing your never-ending love for them? Or maybe that time you accidentally texted your boss saying how much you hate work when you meant to send it to your best friend? Sometimes, technology and alcohol don't mix well.
Fortunately, DrunkDroid can make your life a little less stressful by preventing these embarrassing inebriated cell phone incidents. Before you start your evening adventure, select the contacts from your phonebook which you wish to restrict contact with. DrunkDroid will block all outgoing texts and calls to the contacts in your selected list until you are in a proper state of mind.
To unlock your phone, you can perform dexterity tests such as a game of Pong or Simon Says! (More games to come in the future).
Also, send a snapshot of your location, along with your address when you are unable to let others know of your location. Safety first, always let others know where you are.

[2012-11-27] A Google User: Doesn't work Great idea in principle but when I click on 'add contacts' it says no contacts were found. Yeah? Got over 300 numbers in my phone so wanna bet? Very disappointed. |

[2012-09-16] A Google User: Awesome app I do wish there were some other unlocking features though such as a password lock. That way you could have a friend set the password so you don't send drunk texts even if you can play pong. Lol |

[2012-08-31] A Google User: Needs Work The concept of this app is excellent, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. It only allows you to add contacts who are in your Google+ groups, so mostly it is useless when it comes to dealing with the rest of the world who have not yet been convinced to drop their iPhones and get gmail. I really hope that the developers read the reviews and work to make this app what is should be. I would pay $$ for it if it worked! |
