Don't Burn The Fries is a cooking timer app that promises to keep your food from burning.

It does this by alerting you when time is up like a normal timer, but can also send text messages to other phones so that others can personally alert you.

Sometimes it takes awhile for text messages to reach their destination. To combat this, there is a fine tuning control that can be customized to your liking.
Text message alerts will be sent out prior to the actual alarm end time by the offset you specify.
For example, if you notice that it takes about 20 seconds for a text to reach your friend you can set the Early SMS tweak to 20.
This will send out a text alert 20 seconds before the actual timer goes off so both phones will alert at about the same time.
